I read the reviews on trip advisor and worried a little about booking this place but I needed a place to stay overnight to catch an onward ferry in the morning. I walked from the airport along the beach only about 5mins walk. I was greeted with a warm welcome and shown to my room. Yes the sheets are well...

Our stay at the beef island guest house was terrible at best. in the hot, humid nights in the BVI's, air conditioning is a must and that is absent at the beef island guest house. the only way that you can get a good nights sleep is by having a fan pointed directly at you. Prior to falling asleep, members...

No air conditioning and well worn only begin to describe this establishment. The price was very reasonable but the climate in the BVI can be brutal in a hotel like this one. This was mosquito central and the only was to sleep was with the large fan aimed directly at the bed to keep them grounded. If you can handle...

I really want to like the guest house and it does have a lot of charm however I'm torn as to whether or not I would stay again. It is great to be able to walk to the airport but the beds aren't the most comfortable and the rooms are quite noisy when other guests are in the kitchen or...

We stayed at the guest house before picking up a charter boat and found it to be comfortable and very relaxing. Its located on Trellis bay a very short walk from the airport in daylight. We arrived late, missing some luggage courtesy of LIAT and could have done with a torch to find the place. I'd recommend a taxi after...

I always start my charter and end my charter with a stay at the Beef Island Guest House. I like to walk over from the airport and meet the liveaboards who hang at the Loose Mongosse Bar and get a good nights sleep before starting my charter and it is a great place to unwind and clean up after the...

My husband and I have come to the BVIs for bareboat sailing charters many times over the years and did so again January 2009. We prefer to have "land" days on both ends of our trip and the Guest House is perfect to aclimate! This trip my sister accompanied us; I made online reservations for all of us months ahead....

My husband and I have been traveling to the BVI for over 10 years. 5 years ago, we bought a boat in the BVI so we started traveling there at least 3 to 4 times per year. We have been staying at the Beef Island Guest house ever since, either before we pickup our boat because of late arrival, or...

I was due to stay for several nights at this Guest House in mid October 2008. Due to Hurricane Omar, I had to cancel my stay on the morning of my arrival by telephone with the Manager Simon. This was done before I arrived at San Juan Airport to find that my airline had in any case cancelled my afternoon...

My husband and I have different surnames. We booked a night at the Beef Island Guest House for a night in which we were passing through Tortola and had an early flight, but our plans changed. My husband attempted to cancel outside the seven-day period, but his email went unresponded to for days. When we called to confirm that the...
