Simply put, most relaxing vacation ever. Chacala is off the beaten path and does not offer much shopping, nightlife etc. But what it does offer is exactly what I needed and wanted. Small friendly community that interacts with its visitors, beautiful quiet environment with very swimable oceanfront. Although few in numbers I found the dining options to be more than adequate.... Villa Celeste es muy tranquillo! For a couple from Colorado looking to escape winter, Villa provided exactly the vibe we needed. We booked a room with an outside kitchen, allowing us to cook meals, make drinks (be sure to stop at PV's MEGA supermarket) and simply chill in private, clean accommodations. Though the kitchen is a bit rudimentary, we were... More

When I arrived at Villa Celeste after a long flight with my wife and small son we were greeted by 2 very nice young women who immediately made us feel like the only guests there. Janet and I discovered Chacala Bay nearly 20 years ago when we were cruising the coast of Mexico in our 46-foot sailboat, Camelot. From that experience we determined that Chacala Bay was the prettiest and most enjoyable Bay on the West coast of Mexico. It’s half-mile long crescent sand beach is ideal for walking and the bay offers water access... More
