A better hotel than some I experienced but simple. No hair dryers and the breakfast was poor ( it seemed like they didnt really care about it). They did have coffee ( instant) which is not always available. There was also a bar which wasn't sleazy ( although fairly dark ). Everything in the bathroom worked although not plush. I...

According to Trip Adviser there are 33 hotels in Erbil. Why the Ministry of Tourism booked us into this disgusting hotel is beyond me. The first room they gave me was 705 which still contained the faeces of the last occupant. I went down to reception to report this and was met with total indifference like "what are you making...

Hotel is right next to the citadel just in the city centre. Rooms are simple (AC, TV, bathroom) and start around $ 60 including breakfast. There are plenty of cheap eateries and small shops nearby, moneychangers are in the souq (bazaar) 5 min away. A taxi ride to the airport takes 10 min and around $ 5 ( but $...

They are remodeling this place, but there's no Internet service available anywhere other than the lobby, we got locked out of the room for like 30 minutes, they offer free breakfast but its not very good, or clean either. Employees are very nice and helpful even though most of them only speak Arabic. Overall it's good for staying one night...

We stayed 2 nights here at the end on March. Its only a 2 star and very tired and dated and the bathrooms are not in good order or very clean. Its right at the northern gate of the citadel so really handy for sightseeing and right next to the bazaar. We hear its to be pulled down when the...

This hotel was chosen because it was close to the Citadel which was our focus and for that purpose it was perfect. The hotel is dated and a bit seedy, in need of serious repairs but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and clean and the staff helpful and nice. There was a new AC/heater which worked well. The...

Erbil Tower is in a great location near the Citidel and easy access to find taxis. The architecture of the hotel is actually quite interesting even if it isn't kept up that well, like much of Erbil. The room was a bit dingy and run down but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful...

I stayed at the Erbil Tower Hotel on 12 & 13 June 2012. I arrived at 3am and had the fastest checkin I'd ever experienced at a hotel. I was taken to my room and went staright to sleep. I woke about 7am mainly due to the very noisey guests. I'm sure there must have been something on as the...
