We stayed in a double room (two queen beds) with mini frig and very large bathroom on the first floor facing the pool for 5 nights. The room was clean and comfortable and the daily cleaning was reliable. There is a beautiful outdoor pool which we didn't use as we were busy diving each day but we did see lots...

Breakfast was great until there was a peak in tourist just one week in on our stay, then they started to serve buffet and the quality was not as good as when you ordered it straight from the menu for obvious reason....

I spent 7 days over new year with some friends and i never had such a bad service. The waiters are just ignoring clients and doing the minimum. The food and bevare manager was not at the hotel during their most busy period. Everyday had their share of bad service such as taking 20 min to bring a drink, forgeting...

We booked two nights here to start off our trip to Malapascua, after the first night we couldn't wait to get out of here. We stayed in a standard twin bed room with shared facilities. First off the rooms were cramped, but that didn't really brother us, we had all the comfort we require such as aircon and fan and...

Great view of the beach just right in front of this hotel. The room rates are also very affordable. It might be just an incident of a wrong timing when me and my family went there. There was a construction right beside the restaurant of the hotel. Our room needs a couple of fixing on its door, safety box, remote...

Firstly I'd like to start with the positives. 1. Great pool. 2. Great TV and cable in room. 3. Good proximity to the beach. 4. Nice massage ladies out on the beach in front. 5. Comfy bed. 6. Good breakfast. 7. Clean shared bathroom. Now some negatives. 1. Pool needs shelter. There is no shelter around the entire pool, making...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Malapascua Island is situated two and a half hours away by car and four hours away by bus from the city of Cebu. A barangay of the town of Daanbantayan, Malapascua Island takes pride in its world class diving spots and pristine white sand beaches. It is widely referred by locals as the "Boracay of Cebu." As a diving destination, Malapascua Island has become known for its beautiful coral gardens and excellent local dive spots, as well as further out sites like Gato Island, Monad Shoal, and Kemod Shoal. Monad Shoal is an underwater plateau where thresher sharks and manta rays can be seen on a regular basis. The town's name is derived from two Spanish words, "mal" and "pascua", which translated in English means, "bad" and "Easter" or bad Christmas. According to locals, the Spaniards named the island that way after they arrived there on a stormy Christmas. Malapascua Island is a promise of a great dive and a relaxing beach experience, making it a popular travel destination for local and foreign tourists alike. ... more   less
