My family and I decided to spend the weekend at this place but it wasn't nice.😆 The restaurant Los Laureles was the worst ever! The food was salty, the fish was raw, the service was bad and too slow (2 hours). The room was so so, the wi fi signal sucks, the pool is dirty and cold. The hotel is... More

This is my 3rd stay at El Tapatio. It is a one night stopover on our way to Costa Rica. In its heyday, this hotel was the most luxurious in the city of Guadalajara. The views are spectacular, the rooms spacious but a little faded. Our room is $36 USD. It is a great place to stay.

My husband had stayed here years ago and has always wanted to take me. The pictures truly need to be updated. The rooms are old and the smell is bad. The air conditioning doesn't work well, asked 2 times to have checked and no one came. The pool was dirty, would not even get in it. They really need some... More

The potential for this place is why I gave it 2 stars. The room smelled like mold it was old and the bed made me want to sleep on the floor. This could be a really nice place if they fixed it up. Also, it was unbelievable I think the receptionist has a deal set up with the local taxi... More
