If you are looking for a secret hideaway, with all of the amenities required for total relaxation, yet within walking distance from pure local culture, then Quinta Don Jose is the place for you. The lovely owners and staff will treat you as one of their own family, and the word "No" is not in their vocabulary. We have travelled...

The comforts and personal service of a bed and breakfast with the privacy and space of a small hotel. Our group had three separate rooms/suites as we were there for a wedding and they were all unique and comfortable. A walled compound made it a safe place for my toddler to roam. Beautifully landscaped. Very quiet. Staff were lovely and...

I've stayed there 4 years ago and liked it a lot - but it has even improved - something that doesn't happen very often! It is absolutely recommendable: the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the relaxed and cozy atmosphere, the beauticul decoration and garden with swimmingpool, and the nice food. All of this made it a perfect stay.

Lovely small hotel with11 rooms, well situated to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing in El Parian (the heart of the city). The bilingual staff truly understands the meaning of "service", which is provided beautifully. The hotel has some rooms that open onto a pool, while others are in the interior of the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant and bar with...

We stayed in the Master suite and it was absolutely beautiful with a hammock, jacuzzi tub, fireplace... It was also very reasonable priced! It is a very relaxing hotel and the gardens are...

We enjoyed the Quinta Don Jose hotel for two nights. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms pretty good value for the money. I would go back. Mike from Austin

The family/staff at Quinta Don Jose is top notch and the location is great. If you are going to GDL for business or pleasure, don't waste your time on a "canned" hotel. QDJ is comfortable and located very near the Tlaquepaque Plaza where you can walk freely and enjoy Mexico without feeling like a tourist! Once you are back at...

We stayed at the Quinta Don Jose Boutique Hotel for five nights. It was wonderful. The staff were friendly and most spoke English. The owners are charming Californians with two young daughters. The room was nice, the grounds were gorgeous and everything was squeaky clean. The Don Jose's dinners are terrific and they are modestly priced. That is a great...
