A few blocks from the hustle and bustle of the center of Tlaquepaque this little (8 rooms) family owned and run hotel is a quiet gem. The rooms with their local decor are inviting and comfortable. The terrace lounge is a perfect place to relax. There is a center patio where breakfast is served and a lovely garden.

We stayed 3 nights at this charming, family-run B&B in Tlaquepaque. The B&B is a quiet oasis in the middle of town, with an inner courtyard and a large backyard. Some of the rooms face the courtyard and some the backyard. We stayed in a very clean, cozy room facing the back, with a nice little balcony. The property has... More

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Casa del Retono B & B. I came to Tlaquepaque to study Spanish. I really enjoyed the area and staying at Casa del Retono. The room was very authentic and comfortable. I appreciated the fresh bottles of water each day. I love to watch birds, but had no idea that Casa del Retono... More

I stayed at La Casa de Retoño for five nights during Christmas week. It was charming and comfortable -- great to have a lovely room to come home to after a long day of walking, walking and more walking around Tlaquepaque and Guadalajara. The owners, Luis and Eslye, were very helpful whenever I had questions. The breakfast was a good... More

We had originally planned to stay for 4 nights, seeing Guadalajara, Lake Chapala, the artisan shops of Tlaquepaque, but when our car broke down, Luis helped us ( so very much!) to locate the Toyota dealer, arrange for a tow truck and put us up for an additional 5 nights! We really could not have been in better hands. We... More

Wonderful owners who happen to be very accomodating! Our minor criticisms are that this trip the bed seemed to fight with our bodies and the bathroom was just too restrictive. Since we tend to stay here on our last couple of nights in Mexico, we would like to see a room with more space where we would have enough room... More

Very cute little garden bed and breakfast! Great garden with a little bunny that hops around waiting for you to per him... His name is "rabbit". Clean room with wonderful sounds of the birds all morning and day, all this and only a few blocks from the main plaza! Would recommend it!

We stayed here last week. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. We were with two other couples and had our own open siting area above the garden. It is in a very good location. There was a large green space behind the rooms with a sitting area. There is a cute rabbit to entertain you.... More

This place is a hidden jewel in Tlaquepaque. The rooms are small but nice and comfy, everything was impeccably clean. The owners are the nicest people in the world, did their very best to accommodate us, give us suggestions of good places to visit, not to mention their yummy complimentary breakfast with some fruits cut fresh from their beautiful garden.... I stayed here after spending a few days in Guadalajara's Centro. The owners were charming and helpful, the entire facility was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. I had a balcony overlooking the lovely garden which I recommend if you can get it.
