The Anvil was perfectly located for us between Shannon airport and the Dingle peninsula. Liz was so friendly and helpful during our one night stay here. Great little garden out back to enjoy the sun with a drink. The rooms were very comfortable.

On a recent trip to Inch beach my Mom & I visited here on our way home for a quick bite to eat. We chose to sit outside in the sun. Once the food was ordered the owner Liz came out with the cuttery. What a lovely woman she was, fantastic personality. We both ordered the open smoked salmon sandwich....

Chef Joe cooks the best roast lamb we have ever eaten. Melt in the mouth and full of flavour. You would be silly to order anything else!!! This was our second visit to the Anvil for dinner. Now we know why all the lamb had gone on the first night!!!

We absolutely loved staying at The Anvil Bar. The hosts were just amazing people, obviously a huge part of their community, and extremely hard-working. Our room was big and comfortable and looked out over the valley to the south. A large bathroom with fluffy towels was an extra plus! The choices for breakfast vary from a huge full cooked breakfast...
