Nestled close to vibrant beaches and the pulsing nightlife, Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa garners appreciation for its prime location and impeccable cleanliness, with travelers consistently commending the spotless rooms and well-kept facilities. Guests enjoy a variety of entertainment and dining options, though the live music contributes to a lively yet noisy atmosphere. While the service is often described as friendly and professional, there are occasional mentions of slow check-ins and inattentiveness. Room sizes and soundproofing receive mixed reviews. Some guests feel the resort's pricing and all-inclusive offerings fall short of providing true value.

We said as a group of 6 girls celebrating our 40th Birthdays.

Check in was quick and the staff were so welcoming and informative.

There was a 61 euro hotel tax when we arrived which we never knew about, so bare that in mind.. this is per room.

I would recommend downloading the hotel app as it gives you all the information on all the restaurants/menus/opening times/a la Carte restaurants/activities/entertainment.

Rooms

Fresh and clean. Really comfortable beds and pillows.

Mini fridge that is stocked daily with cans of water, juice (fanta/coke etc) and beer.

Tea and coffee machine also.

Room service is also available at an extra cost for delivery.

Room has ironing board, iron, hairdryer also.

Lovely bathroom and shower.

Pool

Lovely pool which is clean, we never had any trouble getting Sun loungers. Fresh pool towels daily and the waiters also come round to take drinks orders which is a lovely touch.

Food

The main buffet restaurant was outstanding! Something for everyone!

Italian a la carte was lovely, food delicious!

Mexican restaurant wasn’t our favourite, starters were nice but wasn’t a fan on the mains. Drinks were nice though.

Sports bar served food 24 hours, they have a buffet style with burgers/hot dogs/nachos/wraps/salads/pizza you can also order hot food like fries, onion rings, toasties etc too

Drinks were great, some of the cocktails and premium drinks weren’t included but it really didn’t matter to us as they had all our favs mojitos/pina colada etc.. you can add in premium all inclusive for 27 euros a day

Staff

They were all so lovely and always served with a smile. Mohammad in the bar was our favourite who kept us laughing and made sure our bar snacks of crisps/nuts and olives were always full.

Getting around

Can get a taxi to San Antonio for around 30 euros. There is also the “disco bus” for 2 euros which drops at Ushiaya ans only a 5 min walk to hotel.

Old town you can get the no 14 bus from right outside hotel to old town and drops back right outside hotel

Already looking to book again.

Dear Guest, Thank you for this positive review of your stay. We are thrilled to hear that you and your friends enjoyed your 40th birthday celebration with us. It's great to know that our welcoming staff, quick check-in process, and informative hotel app contributed to your positive experience. We appreciate your kind words about our clean and comfortable rooms, as well as the variety of food and drinks available at our restaurants and bars. We apologize for any confusion regarding the tourist tax upon arrival. This tax is mandatory on the island of Ibiza and not a decision made by our hotel. We also appreciate your feedback on the Mexican restaurant and will take it into consideration for future improvements. We are glad that our convenient location and transportation options made it easy for you to explore the beautiful island of Ibiza. We look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable stay in the future. Warm regards, David Filgueira, Duty Resort Manager

My partner and I visited this hotel, an Ibiza for the first time October 2019. Having never been before we were really unsure what to expect. The hotel is super close to the airport with it only being a 12 euro cab ride.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a friendly host and given a glass off fizz to drink. We were then efficiently checked in by a lovely lady in reception and given all the information we needed. We were then helped to our room with our bags.

Throughout our stay, both the food and the drinks were of a high standard, our glasses were never empty of wine. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard each day and the fridge topped up.

On our day of departure we were able to use the facilities until we had to depart for the hotel and staff even booked us a session to use showers.

Overall, this is a great hotel as a base for relaxing and exploring the island. We are looking forward to coming this year!

Upon arrival at the hotel you are greeted by the hotel sign which only has 4*'s (one has fell off or been removed) and that is an fair reflection of the hotel.

Whilst we had a very positive experience with the staff, food and room, there are a number of things that let the hotel down.

Firstly there is no beach. You need to pay €80 for a bed on the beach and you can't take your all inclusive drinks there.

Secondly, the pool is over crowded and short of getting up at 7am or 8am to reserve a prime spot, all the good beds are taken by 9am and then not sat on for most of the day. The hotel need to stop this culture and not allow beds to be reserved until people intend to sit on them. Some families were reserving 6 beds for their 4 children and then the kids are in the pool all day whilst others search for sunbeds.

The a la carte restaurants are great, as is the sports bar and buffet restaurants all have plenty of choice. We only had one bad meal in the portifino restaurant where the steak was inedible - but I can't take away from all of the other lovely meals we had.

The drinks are also very good and all the cocktails tasted great. Bottled water is a rare treat which you don't expect in a 5* resort, they should be available everywhere - not just for 2.50eu in vending machines.

For the most part the staff are all excellent but we had a few exchanges with a few rude team members, particularly the lady at the pool bar who just seems to walk around shouting at people all day.

Finally, they need to do something about the poolside music. Some days there were different songs playing out of different speakers which made it difficult to relax.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your overall stay with us. We would like to inform you that in Spain all beaches are public. The 80€ cost of the bed, we guest that must be about the beds from the beach club next to the hotel. About the bottled water. We decided to do not give them away anymore because our environmental commitment. In any bar they give you for free as much water as you as for in biodegradable glasses. We will take into consideration all your comments, ¡Thank you! We will look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind Regards Eva R, Hospitality Manager

At this moment I m at the hotel. We ‘ve been here twice , this time I don’t know why, maybe because of covid I think , the hotel has some issues. First the buffet, they need to protect more the food , it is mandatory the mask but kids are around touching everything, maybe they sould invest in more personal and serve the food and protect the food by cristal or something. Also you need to
Put gel alcohol in every station not only in 3 points. Also you should clean a little more the hotel , I think it is because they are out of personnel . Regarding Restaurants a la carte it is insane that you have to wake up at 7:30. People start doing a line to make a reservation at 8 am. We are on vacations! At least start taking reservations at noon or at night in advance for next day or use the app it is a face to face reservation. We are in 2021! .
Food quality is good! And people working in the hotel ate great!
Last thing I want to talk about is the 7 am sunbed reservation! You need to invent something to avoid this. People reserve sunbeds at 8 am and maybe they won’t go until noon. You must hace someone removing the towels and let us use the sunbeds only when we want to use it.

This is not a 5 star hotel, more likely a 3.5star. Understand that there’s precautionary measures due to the Covid, but the service really sucks at this hotel. Pay additional for amenities like spa and room service while this hotel isn’t cheap at all. A la carte restaurant can only be booked AT the guest service, not even by phone, so you’ll have to wait in line to do so. Buffet restaurants hardly any clean tables when you come after 9pm. No music at the outdoor lobby bar, bringing your own also not allowed. Taking food to the room for my husband who couldn’t walk due to illness, also not allowed. You only get four small bottles of water in the room each day, or pay to fill up the minibar. Big waste of money, there are way better 4 star hotels on Ibiza than this so called ‘5’ star. Never again!

this is not all inclusive hotel!!!.
they just give very poor breakfast, lunch and dinner with very limited varieties! no snack cake etc.. in between!!
they were trying to charge €2 for a small bottle of water in all inclusive hotel! they were leaving only 3 small bottle of water in the room every day, that`s it!. you can not drink tap water, if you want water middle of the night you must go to the bar area and ask glass of water, if they are open!! and also, most of the staffs were very rude as they dont know how to talk the customers! rooms are good size for only 2 people but it is too small for 3 people!
I wouldnt go back there again as it is all inclusive hotel!

they must learn a lot from Turkish all inclusive hotels, what it means!

This hotel is brilliant. Staff are lovely. Restaurants, bars, swimming pools, entertainment, housekeeping, reception and management are perfect.

Thank you very much to the amazing hotel reception staff especially, Anke & Joan Costa who empathised with my ‘Hidden Disability’. Anke very kindly printed my return PCR and boarding passes after my iPhone was damaged.

Food choices throughout the day in the White Island restaurant are wonderful. The quality is excellent and the staff super-helpful. ‘Thank you’ to Maria Jose Moreno.

Our favourite daytime restaurant is the Portofino. Restaurant Manager Jose Angel Disla was fantastic. Both Isis and Yeray were lovely too. The restaurant location is excellent, the food tastes delicious and the ambience is typically ‘Ibiza'.

Our favourite evening restaurant is the ‘Terrace’ of Palladium Palace. ‘Thank You’ Begona & Cristina Martinez who attended our every need. These two ladies are lovely, professional and extremely hard working.

The rooms are modern and maintained to a very high standard. ‘Thank You’ to Francisca Pol & Vilma for cleaning our room outside of regular hours.

‘Thank You’ Mustapha Belahouel who maintains the sunbeds and surrounding areas, cleaning, straightening and preparing for the following day.

During the holiday we celebrated a birthday. Staff at reception and restaurant all sang ‘Happy Birthday’ (in Spanish too).

We are two very happy returning customers and are looking forward to booking next year.

We have visited this hotel 4 times in the last 2 years, did not want to give negative feedback, but the opportunity was there for you to contact me by email. A special holiday booked 20-27th August paid over 4,0000 euros for a suite room. The day before we were due to arrive I noticed no bookings were available on website. Very concerned I phoned and emailed the hotel, the response was ‘ everything is fine see you tomorrow’ Arrived very quiet but that was to be expected, room lovely. On the 22nd a letter was put under our door saying the hotel was closing on the 24th although we could still use the pool bar and swimming pool otherwise lobby and restaurant closed, we would have to eat at the hotel next door, The last paragraph said if we wanted to move to the linked grand palladium please see reception. I was so upset as there are no exact rooms at the grand palladium. We walked over the first day for a meal it was like a canteen no social distancing and the food was very limited very disappointed. I then complained to the duty manager who arranged bookings for the next 2 nights in the a la Carte restaurants. Food there was lovely but we skipped both breakfast and lunch opting to eat at the sports bar which only serves fast food. We then decided to leave a day early incurring a cost to do so and the manager said we would receive a refund, I emailed the reception with the booking details as requested. Have heard nothing and no refund after being promised 10 days ago.
I do understand the difficult times but 4,000 euros just wasted on a holiday. You could have given me the opportunity to rebook the day before we left but the email said everything was ok. The hotel was understaffed at the restaurant and food not as we knew it previously.
It is vey sad I have to make this negative comment we love this hotel but felt we have been completely misguided and after spending this amount of money did not get what we had paid for.
After we made the complaint a bottle of bubbly arrived in our room. Please do not ignore the fact we are still waiting for our refund, I am sure you will say you will pass the matter on, but I will make a formal compliant if I do not hear back from you ASAP.

Just returned from my vacation at Grand Palladium that was originally scheduled for August of 2020 but had to be postponed due to Covid and the fact the resort would not refund our money and only allowed us to have credit. Which meant we had to pay extra when we rebooked cause the cost per night went up from the same week last year to the same scheduled week this year. I selected this resort based off a recommendation from a coworker. He went on about how beautiful the resort was and the night life within walking distance. The resort was cleans and the rooms were relatively newer. The food was average at best. Consisted mainly of the same meals with one maybe two new dishes. The eggs made to order was consistently under cooked and left runny. The bacon was never cooked completely often left with a lot of fat connected to a small piece that was cooked.. Unless you prefer red steaks, leaking red fluids I would suggest you get something else. The restaurants that required reservations were a struggle to get a reservation but was always less than 50% occupied during our reservation time. This didn't make any sense. All the bars served good drinks, and the sports bar I would say had the best food. The nightly shows were entertaining. Unlike other resorts I've been to There were no day activities at the pool except for the occasional water aerobics and or yoga. The beach was clean and very lively. I i guess because it was a public beach. Be mindful if you stay out at one of the beach bars to late you have to walk around to the front of the resort to gain access. All in all it was just an ok experience. I would have preferred to vacation in the Caribbean instead.

We stayed here for a week and everything was good . We had a deluxe room facing the pool that was modern and had a lovely terrace . The food in all the restaurants was a high standard and lots of choice . The drinks and service in all the bars was also good . The a le carte restaurants were easy to book through the app as long as your flexible on times as we were and visited all three .The entertainment at night was the best we have ever seen at a hotel , the dancing and singing and tribute acts were so good made you want to get up and dance . The lion king was exceptional costumes etc . The sports bar offering self service food plus you could order meals from the menu until the early hours was such a good touch . The pools were Realy good different ones to suit all ages and fresh pool towels each day and had no trouble getting sun beds after breakfast but it was may . The staff were all nice and friendly and happy to help order taxis etc . The bus to the old town is right outside the hotel and cost 2 Euros ( mask required) we had a lovely weeks holiday and believe it was worth the price we paid, Dont believe those negative reviews enjoy !

We had drinks in the minibar included in all inclusive. We only drank mineral water and soft drinks. I did not pay attention to whether alcoholic beverages were included. In July it was not difficult to make a reservation for the a la carte restaurants. We asked the guest service to make the reservation. We had to be at the pool at 10 am to get two sunbeds next to each other.
