Very much happy about the service, the management, my suite, the facilities, the atmosphere and the special care I’m getting as a VIP client!

As some have written before, the hotel is old but these are normal wear and tear that can be abolished when the reviews are read by the management. The outdoor area is in great condition, is super maintained and all those who work there are hardworking bees, really mega. Everyone but also everyone who works in the service breakfast are super friendly and accommodating, they do everything with a calm and yet in action, a great staff team we can only say. The room has been ok as described several times here just got old but all mega Clean by the great room service staff. Especially the jacuzzi and the sun terrace on the second level (platinium suite) has it on us, but you can not go to the beach if you don't like. Very pleasant we can only say. Of course it's not necessarily quiet in the complex, but what do you expect, it's a hotel with a lot of young people but also a lot of over 50s as guests and the music does the rest, which runs over day 6 hours with DJ just like it should be in a hard rock hotel, just like at the beach bar always with DJ, there's nothing without music, which we didn't consider as annoying, but everyone sees that differently. Top were the events on Fridays, which we didn't find super disturbing, you just join in, either as we did first and then further from the balcony. What I unfortunately have to note as criticism, in a hotel which is not necessarily cheap, the first coffee you can make in the morning in the room should not be charged, that was also not told you that the extra costs, that was not so great in our opinion. The bill then we got when checking out and were a bit speechless. Nevertheless, we can say that we will come back...
see you next year;-)
Ah and what we absolutely need to mention is the incredible pace at which the employees go on Fridays or to events before and after a
Event have cleared everything away again and everything is picobello clean again when 5000 people were there on a Friday, that is just sensational.
All thumbs up for the hardworking bees at the Hard Roch Hotel.
You're just classes...
During our stay, the fire alarm was sounded 7 of the 10 nights between the hours of 2 and 4 am, no one at the hotel advised of the reason for this and there was no apology when we made a complaint at checkout.
The staff at the front desk were also fairly rude on checkout, particularly when we raised some issues that we were not happy about and were told that they could do nothing and I should’ve discussed this with them earlier.
Overall, we would not recommend the hotel.

Myself mum and sister arrived at the hotel, our room was a swim up room no 4005, the room was not made up for 3 people, so we had to contact reception, the sofa bed is unsuitable to be classed as a bed it is very flat and uncomfortable, the bedding is paper thin and the towels had rips in them.
There was no sealant around the bath, and the shower door did not seal so the floor flooded each time.
Outside our patio door there was empty beer bottles upon our arival, the palm trees bases where covered in cigarettes butts.
Breakfast is charged at 40 euro per person. Food / drink is exspensive and disappointing, 2 cans of water was 12 euros. We are at the splash pool where our chicken was served black, we complained but all they came back with was it's because it's kept in the fridge! No refund or alternative meal was offered.
We had to ask multiple times for a replenish of tea bags and milk for the room.
The cleaning products the room attendants use is so strong we couldn't sit in our room until it was aired out.
The last day there was a topless lady posing for photos it was apparent the life guard was walking from one end of the pool to the other to turn on the water features multiple times conveniently passing her each time for a gorp! There not saving lives as they just sit on there phones.
Tatel service was shocking, we arrived wanting one drink outside, we were told no! So after attempting to leave I told the lady on the desk it's not acceptable I'm a paying customer and made it clear I wanted to sit outside for one drink, the member of staff then allowed it, the venue was dead and I really didn't see what the issue was!
Credit to the ladies at the breakfast cafe they where very nice and service was great.
Late check out is charged at 150 euro, which after having a meeting with the manager this got wavered which was appreciated we felt the need to bring our issues of our stay to bring awareness that for a 5* hotel every guest should receive 5* service.
I hope the manager and the maintenance team get to work on making the hotel more of a 5 * hotel and providing guests with an unforgettable stay as that's all that we wanted.
Oh one more thing blame my OCD ...the b is missing from the DJ sign at splash pool.
My husband tripped over the metal light fittings around the splash pool and severely lacerated his legs.
There are also a lot of unmarked different levels to the decking area and we witnessed several people stumbling over. The pool staff administered first aid to my husband but he eventually had to go to hospital for treatment. The hotel didn’t initially pay for our taxi fares to and from hospital, however, after I questioned it at check out they did deduct most of it although not without some difficulty.
This whole incident spoilt the last 3 days of our 7 day holiday as my husband was badly bruised and shaken. We were initially offered some form of ‘compensation’ by the way of a days use of the spa. We accepted this after declining an offer of free breakfast or late check out both of which were already included in our package. However the spa was not much use to my husband as he was advised by the hospital to keep his wounds dry therefore we spent approximately 30 minutes there. The lobby and tiled walkways are so highly polished that they were very slippery. When mentioning this to staff they indicated that I must be wearing the ‘wrong type of shoes’!! As a couple in our 70’s who like Rock music and modern hotels we felt a bit out of place so I don’t think we’ll be booking another Hard Rock Hotel anytime soon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. Food and drinks in the hotel were much more expensive than in other resorts too. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a swim up room however the water was very cold. Overall a beautiful hotel in a good beach location but we won’t be rushing back!
A fruit platter in the beach bar turns out to be a plate with a few simple pieces of fruit for no less than €25. You get 4 muddy strawberries and a few pieces of melon.
Any complaint is dismissed with the suggestion that this is “so common in Platja d'en Bossa”.
And those who end up expecting a musical entertainment program in a hard rock hotel will be disappointed to the maximum. The music program does not even reach the level of a spa hotel in Berchtesgaden. It really doesn't get any worse. A maximally untalented DJ plays confused playlists of radio hits of the eighties.
And then once a week the downright embarrassing live act of a Barbara Tucker, whoever that is supposed to be? Apparently, the concept of the hard rock hotel has been adapted to the predominantly older and less rocking guests. Instead of a cool party hotel, everything is more like a square bowling club trip.
And another important note about the rooms:
Even in the largest suites, even the modicum of privacy is impossible. In our Platinum Rock Suite for €5600 a week, the toilet was in a completely open bathroom, just under three and a half metres from the bed and of course beautifully stylishly separated only by a thin glass door.
Since we are by no means stingy and this was not our first Ibiza stay, we were initially quite uncritical and willing to compromise. However, the downright outrageous and maximally arrogant behaviour of the staff has increasingly tipped the mood.
As a conclusion, you can only strongly advise against this hotel.

The location of the hotel is ok if you’re into partying although the main strip does feel a little cheap and tacky. Please be prepared to be approached 4-6 times by drug pushers every time you leave the hotel and also be prepared for them actually being on the hotel property, I thought the numerous security they had at the hotel would do something about this????
I stayed for 1 night and on arrival the room smelled very musty. After returning from dinner in the Old Town that evening I had to leave the entrance door open to air out the room for over an hour to get rid of the smell.
Room lack USB connection to charge my iPhone, unlike the W Hotel in Santa Eulària where I stayed earlier in the week on business. I ended up borrowing a 2 pin wall charger from a colleague who came to see me the next morning. My phone charged very slowly plugged in to the wall socket. Hence my departure from the room just after 12 noon as I wanted to travel to the airport later that evening for my flight with a fully charged battery.
The shower door didn’t close in properly and the floor outside in the room was flooded both times I had a shower - this inspite of me putting a towel in the floor in front of the door both times.
Female bathroom in the spa on level -1 was a bit untidy and lacked body lotion as a provided amenity like what I experienced at the W Hotel.
Suggestion - please consider replacing irons and ironing boards in the rooms with high quality clothing steamers like the W Hotel in Santa Eulària.
I also want to highlight the impeccable work of the head of room service. His dedication and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Every day we returned to a spotless room, and we always found some detail that made our stay even more special. It is clear that she and her team make every effort to create an atmosphere of comfort and luxury.
A special mention deserves my birthday celebration at Tatel restaurant. From the start, the restaurant staff made sure everything was perfect. The food was exquisite, with a presentation that reflected the high quality and creativity of the chef. In addition, the festive atmosphere and personalized attention made this celebration memorable. Then I learned that the head of reception (Daniel) and the head of room service (Alejandra), organized the preparation as a surprise of my birthday.
My experience at the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza was exceptional, and much of it is due to the excellent team that works there. Thank you all for making this visit, something I will remember fondly. I'll definitely be back!
