The spa is good, although the massage booths deserve a little updating. The gym is very well equipped and well air conditioned. The main restaurant offers a buffet that has the merit of being varied... for calm favor the outdoor terrace facing Salines. And for even more peace, remember to book your tables in the à la carte restaurants as soon as you arrive (included in your stay). The beach is easily accessible and big advantage (to my taste) is located at the end of the beach d’en bossa, so it is quiet, there are deckchairs (10 euros) but supreme luxury (to my taste again) you can have the luxury of quietly spreading your towel on the little piece of beach left vavalent 👍👍👍
The flat, which is still a big flat for me: the noise!!!
The hotel is by several factors extremely noisy! The first thing to emphasize, the main pool, from 10/11am in the morning (variable), the music starts, and depending on who starts it, it is not the same neither in volume , nor in the choice of music... and sometimes it moves if you have the misfortune to be pool side. So favor the rooms on the Salt side to avoid boom boom music. Little advice, the 2nd pool has no music at all 👍.
In general, in all common places including the restaurant, you are stuck with music at too high a volume...I will tell the Spaniard
The rooms are very poorly soundproofed, and even if the main audience of the hotel is a family audience, there is still a population of partygoers who come home step by step bawling... the door is cigarette paper.
Add to that, the proximity to the airport, with the incessant landings and takeoffs....sincerely, it spoils the experience of the place a little (even if you get used to the noise)
To conclude, my children found their way, I myself enjoyed all the services but when my children grow up ....I will prefer a smaller hotel with probably less services adapted to the kids but QUIET
We (2 adults and a 1yr old) are mid way through a short break at Grand Palladium Palace and are very pleased.
Pros:
Our room (jacuzzi suite) was lovely. Clean, large and nicely decorated. Bed very comfy. Jacuzzi was a big plus for us as you run it yourself so can adjust the water temp! Definitely well used by us given the main pools were quite colds
Lots of variation with food, big salad bar. Freshly cooked chicken and fish. Paella. Pasta, risotto, burgers, chips, various rices/ couscous, different vegetables, cheeses, cold meats, lots of breads, soups, omelette/ pasta station. Load, even for the pickiest eater. All inclusive drinks include some actual brands you’d recognise! Alcoholic drinks are not watered down so the beer actually tastes like beer which is nice! Staff are attentive in the bar areas and will come to the table to take your order. In room mini bar is free (beer and soft drinks).
Lots of bars and restaurants. One 24/7 bar that also does bar food.
Beautiful swimming pools, really pretty and well maintained. Landscaping in general is really pretty.
10 min taxi transfer from the airport, cost about 12 euros just hailing a cab at the airport.
Great children’s facilities. Fun splash pool, kids club and baby club. You can leave your child in the care of the staff for 2 hours a day if you like. Junior club looked good as well (i think it maybe had a VR machine??). You can also use the kids club facilities and playground and stay with your children if you prefer.
Cons:
Pools are not heated and in October are very cold. So much so that really only a handful of brave kids were using them. It was 23 degrees when we were here and the pools were freezing. We did go in briefly with our little girl but it was too cold for her also. Not a problem if you have brave kids who don’t care or if you’re not interested in using the pools. But if the pools are a big draw, I would suggest coming during the summer when it’s warmer. If you come in October, it’s still a lovely place but readjust your expectations in terms of swimming!!
Hotel gets some airport noise. I mention this purely because other reviews mention it. In all honesty, it didn’t bother us. You hear the planes occasionally when you’re outside at the pools but we couldn’t hear them inside. And the planes didn’t come that often (whilst we were here) anyway.
Location, whilst convenient for the airport, is a bit far from anywhere if you fancy going off and exploring on foot. We did do a walk toward Ibiza town but it’s not the nicest walk to get there and it’s quite far with a pushchair. There is a bus that goes from the hotel to the town though and taxis are relatively cheap.
Pros - nicely decorated room with comfy beds
Mini bar is included
Nice food & drinks
Lovely grounds
Super close to the airport €12 in a taxi
Good activities - my son did a DJ workshop which he enjoyed
Cons - pools absolutely freezing but our kids didn't care
Only 2 ice creams are included on all inclusive & they ran out of them. The barman actually laughed when telling me & my 6 year old
They ran out of pool towels & just shrugged & said we don't know when we'll get more,. It was after breakfast on our second day when we managed to get some.
It's very difficult to get drinks service in the restaurant with lunch/dinner as the servers are so busy.
The make up mirror in our room was broken & didn't work
The number of bath & hand towels left in our room decreased each day until we were on 3 bath towels & 1 hand towel for 4 people
All in all it was good, just expect a little more for the 5* tag.
Pros:
1) Upon arrival at 1pm our room was not yet available but the receptionist managed to assign us a different room to ensure we had somewhere to sort our baby out which we really appreciated
2) The hotel is located close to the airport so a very short transfer of about 10 minutes (lots of reviews mention the plane noises, but this really doesn’t don’t bother us and is to be expected staying in a hotel near an airport)
3) Staff are mostly very friendly
4) Pool areas are very clean and nice
5) Variety of food and drink, overall very tasty
6) Lovely area for children at the splash park with lots of shade
Cons -
1) Food was often cold in the buffet
2) Pools were freezing and mostly unusable
3) Housekeeping was very poor for a 5 star (cobwebs in room, my baby was very obviously sick in his cot and his bedsheets weren’t changed, dirty in multiple areas) seemed that all they did was make the bed and mop parts of the floor
4) Low quality/broken furnishing in rooms e.g handle was broken on wardrobe and I ended up injuring my finger
5) Minibar not restocked daily
6) Low quality bed umbrellas by the pool, never known umbrellas to blow away at a hotel before. Also the sunbeds were not very comfortable compared to other 5 star hotels we’ve stayed in
7) Hallways are very dated and dark looking
We didn’t have a bad stay, but just feel this is not a 5 star hotel as advertised. All the usual touches that we are used in our stays at other 5 stars hotels were greatly missed during this stay e.g turndown services, staff helping with luggage upon arrival, better quality furnishings in rooms, higher quality housekeeping, heated pools, access to the spa included in price, warm food

The room was basic & like previous review noted it was disappointing as the other hotel (which costs significantly less) uses the exact same facilities/ restaurants/pools & for us there was no luxury to the room. The hotel is noisy, doors slamming, woken up by voices throughout the night & the constant stream of aircraft, without ear plugs I wouldnt have sleep. Also we had to wait half an hour for an iron, though we had ironing board & the shampoo, shower wash bottles were completely empty, so had to use hand wash
There is sunbed wars at the time we went, this is just for the parasols, there are plenty of beds. There needs to be more parasols! I think the hotel may offer a day access as on the Saturday the pool area & buffet lunch were very busy & if my children were with us I wouldnt have been entirely comfortable with the kids in the pool alongside hen party’s & other large groups of people drinking in the pool.
Entertainment in the evening for families was good.
Personally as a parent on an adult only mini break, I couldn’t decide who hotel was aiming themselves at….but we got from the trip what we wanted.
Finally we did see mice at the Italian & going under the decking on the GF rooms if not already there needs to be something done about this.

Last came about 3 years ago before the hotel was refurbished and you can immediately see the changes as you walk outside of reception to the pool area. All the broken tiles and dodgy fake grass have gone and the pool bars and bridge to White Island have have been upgraded and look more classy.
The room upgrades are great-neutral decor, with lots of storage. We requested and were given a room in block 3 , overlooking the main pool. The balcony gets the afternoon sun which is perfect.
Great quality drinks on AI so I wouldn’t bother with a premium package upgrade. The sparkling wine is really dry and tastes amazing. Bar service is quick too.
When we came here previously the food in La Sal buffet restaurant was the best AI we’d ever had which is the reason we chose to come back.
Sadly, La Sal has been a real let down and the hotel has gone down in my estimation. It certainly doesn’t justify a 5 star rating The salads are amongst the best we’ve had at an AI hotel but the hot food and service are very disappointing. We had hake in beurre blanc sauce last night and it was really cold, whilst other meat options were tepid. Hot breakfast items this morning were really cold too. Many breakfast items had gone by 10.10am and weren’t replenished, although breakfast doesn’t finish til 11. Many plates I’ve picked up are marked and have still had remnants of food stuck to them.
We had to queue to get into La Sal yesterday evening. There were lots of empty tables but not enough staff.
No queue for breakfast this morning but we had trouble finding a table as all the unoccupied ones hadn’t been cleared and we had to ask for someone to do this.
We have no other option than to eat at La Sal for the rest of our stay as the buffet restaurant in White Island is now showing as closed on the app and the only other restaurant we wanted to go to is fully booked for the duration of our stay.
We won’t eat in the sports bar as we were there for 2 hours last night and the self service items sat unattended and not refreshed.
All in all, refurbishments are great but I don’t think this hotel is giving customers the experience advertised due to restaurants being closed and residents having to rely on sun-standard food in the few that are open.
.
We loved having so many dining options right at our fingertips, from the relaxed beach terrace to the more formal main restaurant.
There were plenty of sun loungers, including some in the pool, so we never had trouble finding a spot to relax. The drink selection was great too, with something for everyone. Though, the pool bar did shut at 19:30!
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a constantly re-stocked minibar, and we really appreciated the convenient wristband key that eliminated any worry about losing it. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Stayed in a beautiful superior newly upgraded pool room on the Palace side which was ground floor with easy access to pool and room, yes our children shared a sofa bed but room big enough for us all, lovely and clean with mini bar refilled each day. No complaints here.
The AI buffet was one of the best buffets we have ever eaten at. Food varied, hot, delicious and caters for all. Paella lunch was a treat everyday and the show cooking was delightful each evening. Desserts were lovely, fresh fruits and ice cream. The restaurants which can be eaten at throughout your stay and also included are really beautiful, great service too- deffo recommend booking those on arrival as they get booked up.
The hotel had a real fun vibe, busy yes for August but just filled with people wanting a good time. Palace side is for sure the liveliest out of both hotels but we wanted that with older kids wanting to meet friends and be entertained. Was a pleasure to be in Ibiza in this hotel and the location was just great for us. I wouldn’t come here with friends on a girls trip but for a two hour flight with ten min transfer for families it is excellent. Lots of teenagers and young babies.
One thing which is a shame is no floaties/lilos in the pool and the lifeguards are super strict on this and you will be whistle blown if you try! Daytime ice creams are a bit rubbish with choice of only 3 so this could be improved. No dairy free alternative either.
Already planning our return although noticed priced for next year are mental high so hopefully they come down a bit! We paid £4K for 5 nights so don’t fancy £8K for 7 nights which is what I am quoted currently.
Easy access to Bossa beach was a bonus too! We didn’t leave the hotel much as just enjoyed all the facilities with a cocktail or 3.
Overall this hotel is stunning and if you have booked you will not be disappointed! We love Ibiza and will be back!
The beach chair and umbrella service is for a fee (€ 10 per day, affordable even if incomprehensible given the all-inclusive formula). The main restaurant is a buffet with a wide choice , varied menu and more than good quality. The rooms are very nice modern and spacious. The Resort serves alcohol and spirits at no extra charge until 1am and there is a bar with 24-hour kitchen service with hamburger pizza chips and salads. Overall level structure with high standard of service. It is classified as 5 stars. For me the 5 star hotel must also have personality, this hotel has a more commercial character, but it is still great if you like the genre. Recommendation for a carefree stay in Ibiza
