Marg is an excellent hostess and made us feel very welcome. She serves an excellent range of breakfast options in the guests living/dining area, which is spacious, very comfortable and has a patio area with grea views. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the opprtunity to meet other guests. Guests are invited to use the well equiped kitchen - basic foodstuffs...

We spent three nights with Marg and John at the end of our family trip to New Zealand, they made all the difference to our visit as they had many helpful suggestions and sincerely wanted to understand and meet our every need. We took one of the three day packages which was tailored to us, including a guided tour of...

We stayed at PCL in Feb. 2013 and absolutely loved it. The property is gorgeous with a great view from the main area. John and Marg were so wonderful that it felt like visiting friends. Breakfast was superb. One of the days Marg packed a picnic lunch for us and we had enough food for two days. We hope to...

We found this property clean, however it is important to note that there is little privacy. We did have a long drive *(probably a mistake to drive from the Bay of Islands) however after a late arrival with a near miss of a restaurant. Poets Corner is not close to restaurants if you are driving after dark. After now making...

Kathy and I found it to be the perfect place to relax and unwind from our 13 hr. flight from Los Angeles. You experience spectacular views of the surrounding hill sides and the Orokawa Bay. Mag and John are very good hosts (they live in a seperate house about 75 yards away), they are very friendly and helpful without being too much in your face. We enjoyed some lovely early evening wine with them on the patio which has glorious views -...

After a meandering drive from Auckland we arrived at Poets Corner. A little hard to find on the Sat Nav but worth the wait. Our hosts were superb, the location beautiful and the poached eggs and smoked salmon on home made bread, divine Marg and John, our hosts, went the extra mile to ensure that we had a good time
