Came here during the Three Taverns Tour - what a great idea that is! (A bunch of local choirs walking to three different pubs in the area and entertaining the afternoon drinkers). It was obviously a very busy Saturday afternoon and the pub is run...More

The "three taverns" Saturday has become something of an institution for several years now. The other two inns - The Sun in Eryrys and the Rose and Crown in Graianrhyd are well worth a visit too. Yes, sunny afternoons are popular with friends sitting outside...More

Thank you for stopping by and taking the trouble to write such a glowing review. We'll be looking forward your next visit.
We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown straight to our room. Nice easy access car park at the front of the inn with plenty of room for our van.
Room was clean and nicely decorated with a fully equipped compact kitchen.

We're so happy you enjoyed a sunny afternoon in our picture postcard little village. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
My husband and I regularly visit on a Friday evening to have the lovely fresh fish &chips &mushy peas @ £7.95.
They serve lots of other meals but the fish is particularly good value and is usually a good size, with crispy light batter.
Thank Paula M

Good to hear that our fish and chip offering continues to be well received. Chef has extended the Friday menu and includes tasty veggie options.
