Les Hibiscus is a beautiful hotel, tucked away down a quiet boulevard. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Breakfast was taken upstairs in a wonderful dining area, with period furniture and lovely fixtures, fittings and artwork. Its just a tranquil haven and situated just a short walk from the fantastic promenade and shopping areas. Its just awesome and the staff are...

This hotel deserves all the good reputation it already has. Big rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff, fresh-pressed welcome juice, kits for tea/coffee and bathroom kits that are just spot-on right, beautiful furniture, comfy beds, yummy breakfast, highest standard of fans and AC. All this for just under €40 per night is a bargain. The only minus I could think of...

Les Hibiscus is a lovely B& B. Our room was large, furnished in a mixed Indian/French style with an enormous comfortable bed. Everything is very clean and the place well managed. The breakfasts are huge - several kinds of fresh fruit, yoghurt , fruit juice, croissants, toast then dosas and chutney! Tea is good but coffee a let down (kept hot...

Neat and clean. Located in French quarter of the town. Beach road is just one minute walk. Majority of star rated restaurants are within walking distance. Downtown shopping is accessible by auto rickshaw. Food quality is good. Hot and cold breakfast is okay. Highly recommended.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel within walking distance of most of the sights in Pondicherry. Staying here felt as though we were still in the old French colony. The terrace where we were served breakfast is full of antiques and beautiful timber furniture and our room which opened onto the terrace was similar in the way it was furnished....

This place is beautiful! The service is amazing and the breakfast was gorgeous! Such a shame it was booked up and I could only stay one night. They even managed to organise a taxi at short notice from Chennai. The bed is super comfortable to. I really can't fault this place.

We stayed for three nights. On arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming and our room was large and clean. The hotel is located in the French quarter, close to the train station, the waterfront and lots of nice shops, and places to eat & drink. There was also a mixture of Indian as well as European food (eg...

We stayed at Les Hibiscus for two nights in early December as part of a 3 week trip in India staying at a variety of hotels and b&b's. It was easily the loveliest place we stayed at and would be a hit anywhere in the world. It is a tiny hotel with only four guest rooms (I think) situated in...
