We have just returned from a group visit to the Island of Cumbrae on the Clyde. 20 of us stayed for two days and one night. We had a great welcome, full board food was very good and the rooms were clean & comfortable. College of the Holy Spirit is certainly different from a regular B&B but it is full... More

Stayed here on Sunday night at September weekend as all accomadation and flats were booked. Location was OK but scary at night. Didn't rate rooms or breakfast room very dirty only bonus was the bed was comfortable personally wouldn't recommend it if your not fussy might suit you totally overpriced.

I was here for two nights as part of a retreat with a group from my church. It was a beautiful place and the rooms were very comfortable. I had a double room with an ensuite shower. There were also baths available in separate bathrooms down the corridor. Located on a small island and adjacent to the cathedral it is... More

The Isle of Cumbrae is wonderful to explore, and we did the grand tour, 4 seater bicycle, 10+miles in 2 1/2 hours.Would have liked to... More

This is unlike any other hotel. In fact..it's not. It's really a retreat with accommodation for visitors. For a spiritual getaway you won't beat it. Magical, mystical and peaceful. Wonderful island (yet easy to reach) and outstanding building. The smallest cathedral in the British Isles. Downtown Abbey meets boot camp. It's like nowhere else around so can't fit into the... This provides beautiful rooms for B&b , peaceful, in an old seminary. Lovely breakfasts, dinner available on request.homecooked by the gorgeous Patrick . It is very central, next to the Cathdral of the Isles but you don't at all need to be religious to stay here.

College of the Holy Spirit offers modest rooms on the beautifully kept grounds of the gorgeous Cathedral of the Isles located in the seaside village of Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae. I stayed for a week for a group yoga and writing retreat, and loved being there. (The College of the Holy Spirit also rents out individual B&B rooms,... More

The "College of the Holy Spirit" is the guesthouse of the "Cathedral of the Isles" (of the Scottish Episcopal Church), the smallest cathedral in Great Britain. It is located in Millport on the Isle of Great Cumbrae. The island can be easily accessed by ferry from Largs, then a short connecting bus ride to Millport followed by a short walk... More
