I stayed at The Repose Rabat Sal'e for 16 days and it was the best choice I made for this trip. I was actually there to get married to my fiance who is also Moroccan and from Sal'e. It is a lovely small family run hotel hidden away in the back streets of the old town of Sal'e. The decor...

The repose is a very cute place with a very nice dreaming rooms. The little streets are very similar to Aladin 1001 nights story s streets in the dysney cartoons. Also i recommand this place for who want to spend a wonderfull time with his /her love. The welcoming are one of the best i have seen. The only things...

We went to Rabat for the Mawazine Festival and a trip through Morocco. Our first stop was the Riad of Jan and Rachid in Sale. We were immediately impressed but the beautifully restored Riad. The rooms were beautiful and so is the roof terrace. After these first "looks", Jan, Rachid and their staff created also a safe and friendly feeling...

We stayed here at the end of a 15 day trip in Morocco. Jan was more than welcoming, as we had some health issues going on at the time. She arranged for a massasuese (sp?) to help my sister-in-law, who's back had gone out on her. The rooftop garden was lovely and I enjoyed sitting up there reading and relaxing...

Perhaps it's the personal attention, vast knowledge and insider hints and tips, and honest-to-goodness beautiful generous warmth of the owners, Jan and Rachid (ask about the world's best juice joint...). Perhaps it's the location, tucked away inside the tourist-free lanes of Sale, which makes you feel that you've discovered the most incredible hidden jewel. The utterly delicious breakfast up on...

I stayed overnight at The Repose in May of 2012. The owners, Jan & Rachid, could not have been more accommodating. And their little four year old daughter, Meriem, is a delightful helper around the Riad. In every way possible, Jan & Rachid have gone out of their way to make this a highlight of your trip. The place is...

We stayed in "The Repose riad" during two days at March 2012. We would like to thank the owners for their very cordial welcome and for their time and patience to explain the very good options they proposed to visit Salé and Raba. The riad was very quiet and clean. Breath-taking, the whole decoration was at the same time beautiful...

This was the nicest of the four places I stayed during my recent trip to Morocco. I would highly recommend this riad. The roof patio is the nicest, and the breakfasts and dinner are the best. Easy to get to Rabat via the boat or the tram and a short walk to either. I would absolutely stay here again on...

We booked the Repose based on TripAdvisor recommendations and we were very happy with the welcome. Jan and Rachid are very nice and friendly. This Riad is a good place to visit Rabat. If you have a car, it's easy to park it near the Riad for 20 di/day. Going to Rabat from this place is very easy - Tramway...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Repose, is an oasis of calm in the heart of Sale's traditional medina, Rabat. Lovingly restored by the owners, Rachid and Jan, this luxury riad has been renovated and decorated using traditional materials and craftsmanship to give a haven of peace and tranquility. The whole riad oozes Moroccan charm and each of the 4 suites has its own unique identity. The salon is ideal for dining in the cooler months, reading a book or playing games. The courtyard is great for sipping tea, listening to the splashes of the fountain, while the terrace is fabulous for breakfast, sunbathing or siestas in the shade. With Rachid and Jan on-site, the hospitality and customer service are second-to-none and the combination of their local knowledge and awareness of international expectations ensures a warm and comfortable stay. ... more   less
