Rooms are modern and clean and there is TV. I could not make the wifi work in the room, but was able to make use of the wifi in the seating area between reception and the restaurant. The 20 euro Menu du Terroir offered reasonable value, but the restaurant needs some smartening up, for example the curtains were all over... More

Thought it was worth giving this little hotel the thumbs up, an uninspiring exterior was hiding one of the cleanest well kept little hotels I have stayed in, the staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble, I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night in a group of 32 people we ate the the hotel both evenings and... Working in construction industry I get to travel a lot and stay in simple and cheap hotels a lot. Times Hotel quickly became my favorite in Contrexeville. The room for four people perfectly accomodates me and my team, Room is always clean and hotel staff (I think it is a father and son business) they are delightfull people to talk... More

I previously wrote a review at a time when we had not eaten in the hotel but on our last visit earlier this year we arrived for an utterly delicious dinner - so I can highly recommend the restaurant too - although you have to arrive on time if you want to eat an evening meal. We had champagne and... More

I'm rating this excellent for many reasons. While it may seem like a typical motorway stopover hotel, it is considerably more. On our first visit (2 weeks ago) we arrived without a booking very late at night having had to make an emergency trip south. We were recommended the hotel by a waitress in a motorway cafe, but warned it... More

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a short stay en route to South france. We had a 4-bed family room. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff very friendly. We enjoyed the pool and what hotels in this budget range have a full pool?! Similar with food, basic but great quality given the price. Much recommended!

It’s a perfect hotel for an overnight stay on your way to the south. The staff was exceptional friendly and our room was very clean. We were only missing a minibar/fridge in the room as it was very warm during our stay. The free parking for our car was a bonus.

Checkin was fast - staff (owners ?) were quite nice and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was large and comfortable, large wardrobe. Couple of small vending machines at reception. LCD TV, could not see any inputs. WiFi was intermittent at 6mbps (apparently there was some sort of technical problem when I was there). The hotel's swimming pool... More

“Do not be afraid of rooms with a view to a railway. Trans slow down as much as to 10km/h within town limits. never heard a single train passing by. A room for four could be negotiated for three people. price for three - extra space for four.”
