A very handy location with secure garage parking ( an extra but well worth it ) Overlooking the canal, handy to the many restaurants and the old town. A 3 minute walk. Friendly staff and clean and tidy rooms. We chose a room with a tiny balcony overlooking the canal.
Beautifully situated by one of Sete's canals within easy walking distance of all amenities, bars, restaurants etc. Well decorated and a friendly reception. Our canal facing compact room had a large, comfortable bed, two chairs, a table and a TV. The bathroom was adequate.THERE WERE NO TEA AND COFFEE MAKING FACILITIES which was a disappointment to us who enjoy an early morning 'cuppa'. Breakfast was available, either in the room or in a breakfast room although we had breakfast amongst the locals in a well known cafe. A nice quiet atmosphere apart from the Friday nights entertainment, emanating from one of the many restaurants on the opposite side of the canal. We booked through Expedia but would book direct next time as it would be cheaper.
Nice hotel at a very good location. Our room had a view of the grand canal which was great. The room was spacious and the bathroom a good size. The bathroom was also a good size. There is a parking offer which is important as finding a parking space there is quite difficult. The picture of the lobby here must have been taken many years ago when it was first decorated because in reality it looks more tired. The room furniture is also a bit tired but the location and the warm welcome are a great compensation. The price is also quite reasonable.
Like many others we were seduced by the location, but we quickly realised the hotel took this to mean no effort was required: worn carpets, spartan rooms etc. this is more 2* than 3. Add to that the kind of reception we got - you walk in, up to Réception, a lady is sitting there writing, you offer up a sunny "bonjour", she doesn't look up or even acknowledge your presence - and it's like "OK it's one of those places". They could not have been less friendly. WiFi didn't work but they didn't do anything to help, as others have also written. We won't be back.

Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for leaving a comment on Tripadvisor. Our wifi problem is now fixed, we had to call a technician about that and they are not available all days. As for reception, we apologize if you found our receptionist not smiling. As you can read in the other comments, our team is often congratulated for its warm welcome. Best regards.
Stayed here for 2 nights, hotel is overlooking the main canal, all walkable. Best leave your car in the canal carpark. Hotel carpark is tiny. My room on 3rd floor simple but nicely renovated, great bed, very clean, small balcony overlooking the action. Nice continental style breakfast in pretty patio or retro style dining area. Lots of small design touches, lots of tlc. Staff friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend as a base to explore this lovely fishing port town.
