We stayed here after travelling across to Greymouth in the Transalpine Train. Located not far from the famous Pancake Rocks this place was fantastic. Our studio was perfect with a nice balcony at the back with views over the bush and a view across to the impressive beach from the side of the motel. There was a good kitchen and...

We were 3 families in a group of 8 and put up in 2 units. The units are large, quite well stocked with coffee/tea, Crockery, pans and other basic necessities! The only issue was the bigger unit in which 2 of the families were had only 1 bathroom but it was hardly a major one. We arrived quite late in...

Awesome spot to explore the coast. We stayed in studio one where we were treated to sea views, a weka visiting out the front and a minute walk to a small glow worm grotto, amazing! Everything we needed to cook for ourselves on the two night stay, warm and cosy and hosts that were happy to help :)

Strangest place we stayed during our NZ trip. No sign of management and they didn't answer phone when we arrived at 5pm, still no one at 6 and no one answering door at manager's quarters so checked ourselves in, as the office was open and we had prepaid. More guests arrived and same again, helped other guests check in. Bedside...

We were 2 couples staying for 3 nights over Easter and the Pancake View cabin #6 was just perfect! It's a stand-alone typical Kiwi Bach with lots of space, a full kitchen with everything, large lounge/dining with plenty of comfy seating and a huge TV. The layout is perfect for 2 couples as the separate toilet and a door separating...

My husband, friend and I stayed at this wonderful motel while we were visiting the pancake rocks and blowholes in punakaiki, South Island,New Zealand. It is beautifully situated for getting to the site. I didn't think to take pictures of the hotel itself, but it is located on the promontory behind the rocks in this picture. PPM is run by...

This was a great place to overnight on a trip up the coast. Clean and tidy and our unit was even better than the photos on the website. Comfortable beds and a good shower (although the bathroom floor got wet). We forgot to visit the glow worms - so will have to go back. Very handy to the Rocks. Recommended....

We only stayed overnight, but had the Bush House which is in a secluded spot behind the reception office. It is a lovely location, very peaceful and at night the view of the stars was magnificent. The room is well equipped with utensils etc. The only possible drawback for some is that the third bedroom is outside the other two...

This was our second stay here in 2 years. The rooms had been redecorated and modernised. Everything was very clean and we loved the brand new pillows and pretty bedding. We had good kitchen facilities with hot plates, microwave and fridge. There were fresh flowers in the room and we were made very welcome by owner Justin. The setting is very...
