A beautiful totally renovated old Italian villa. Only 5 or 6 appartment in an idyllic setting of immaculate gardens and grounds. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor and had a very large balcony overlooking the city of Carrara, the marble capital of Italy. Owner was most gracious and helpful in all respects. Everything there, including a 1st class breakfast,...

Everything with this little bed and breakfirst was fantastic. The owner was very helpful with all kind of issues, like rekommendation of restaurants, wine yards and all about the area. Beautiful house and garden.

Absolutely stunning! Our 'B&B' turned out to be a 3 room suite with self catering facilities: kettle, coffee maker, fridge, sink. The floors were pure marble and the beds firm and a dream to sleep in. Fully air-conditioned and with shutters at the windows as an optional extra to keep out the heat, the rooms were wonderful. Breakfast is served...

Wonderful place to stay. Very tastefully renovated italian villa. With a beautiful garden and an interesting mix of antiques and modern art. However the hospitality was the highlight, the far best we've had in Italy. The service was above and beyond We will come back someday and stay longer. I can not recommend this place strongly enough.

My husband and I and our 2 kids go to Italy once a year. This year we decided to visit Carrara. Our friend recommended that we stay at a newly opened B& B -- Villa Belverde. We could not be happier with his recommendation! The house setting, and views were great and very hospitable and detail-oriented owners made our trip...

Carrara is a small nice Italian town, known for marble mining. Villa Belverde is a bit off from city centre, but has beautiful garden and backyard with parking lot. Already the moment I got confirmation e-mail from Margherita, I knew that it must be a special place. But I wasn't ready for what we saw. With all respect I have...

This villa is beautifully renovated with architectural design, and furnished with taste, with art pieces all over the floor. We were greeted warmly on arrival, I was very impressed with the whole place, we have a good size bedroom with a lovely living room and kitchen, nicely decorated, perfectly clean, with a long sofa that makes one feel relaxing and...

This is a beautifully tastefully and lovingly restored Italian villa. The electric gates open and you are greeted by Ms Margaret the most charming hotelier I've ever encountered, she was so helpful with ideas of what to do, and where to go during our stay. The entrance hall has a beautiful marble staircase with tasteful and quirky modern art displays,...
