Reading the different reviews, I guess something has occurred between then and now.
In any case, that's why reviews are made for. This B&B is not as worth as it seems to have been in the past.
Good point though : B&B is located in...More
Returned from a week stay 28th June-6th July in this wonderful B&B in the heart of Nicolosi. Location is perfect for exploring Etna and villages surrounding it. The B&B itself was very clean, rooms very spacious and owners very kind and helpful. The owner really...More
The best place to stay if you intend to spend some time on amount Etna. This place feels like home. Breakfast is plentiful, rooms are well furnished with rustic furniture, parking is easy and hosts are very nice. A very poitive experience.
Stayed one night in this lovely B&B. Room was clean and well presented. Shower could do with an upgrade . We were able to help ourselves to fruit and drinks in the kitchen at any time. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Owners very helpful and...More
Before travelling to Sicily, we carefully analysed all aspects - among which the location was a major issue. It wasn't really difficult to find Nicolosi - to be the "headquarters" for our excursions, and we are very glad finding this small B&B.

Hi Eric - I am one reviewing "Notti e Dintorni". First, I shall point out, we did not try any public means, because we were there with a hired car. BUT: There are a lot of organised tours to Mount Etna / Rif. Sapienza - and I am sure, the landlord will be more than delighted to give you good advice about these possibilities. Some of these tour operators serve "door to door", so you don't need to take even a step! I recommend this guy to you attention (you can find him in TripAdvisor as well): Paride @ EtnaSicilyguide) – there is NO exageration in his ratings, we can confirm that!!! (He operates also on a "door to door" basis.)
Regarding Acireale - well, unfortunately no idea -yet again, the landlord @ Notti e Dintorni will be more than delighted to help, I am sure!
Regarding Catania - well basically Nicolosi is "attached" to Catania so I am more than sure you can find various means of Pb Transp to get around!
Hope this was somewhat helpful - and we should be more than envy of you visiting this beautiful corner of the World!
All the best
