We stayed for 2 nights in July in this nice little village called Nicolosi near Catania for my cousin's marriage. It is the gateway to the amazing Volcano Etna. The Hotel is very nice and the rooms very clean. Each room has its special painting/color. The hotel is good for people who want to make excursion in the area of...

Last week two friends and I spent 4 days at the Sant'Antonio Hotel in Nicolosi, gateway to the amazing Etna. The rooms, each with its unique character and style, were very clean and comfortable and provided all amenities for a great stay. The always smiley and friendly owners and staff were there to meet all our needs. Do not miss...

I stayed at the Sant'Angelo for 5 nights last month (Sept 2015). The hotel was clean and confortable. The location is ideal is you want to explore the Etna. Nicolosi is the town closest to the Volcano. It was also very close to Taormina and Catania. The staff was extremely friendly and spoke English. I particularly loved waking up and...

This was my second time at this hotel, having been there over two years ago, again visiting the amazing Etna. Very nice hotel in Nicolosi at walking distance from the town centre. The location is perfect for those who do not wish to stay in Catania and wish to explore more of the Etna volcano. There are some good restaurants...

The overall look of the hotel and rooms is great, beds are comfortable enough with staff more than willing to provide extra blankets etc. when asked. Small issues with lots of people using showers and electricity at the same time, but quickly resolved. It is in a very convenient location with a supermarket across the road and a number of...

We booked this hotel for two nights on the basis of reading previous trip advisor reviews. It was in the centre of Nicolosi and was good value and comfortable and beautifully decorated. We found the place hard to find with no sat nav but stopped nearby at a café and the hotel owner came out in his car to guide...

Firstly this hotel DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS - be aware! Secondly, there is no air con or even a ceiling fan - this may or may not be a problem for you. The hotel is on a town street with a mini market opposite and no off street parking. We paid E60 per night (2 nights) for a very...

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Fantastic decor throughout and the garden was a perfect place to relax. Would highly recommend a stay here. Well worth asking about the Pizzeria just up the road, great pizza and discount is given to guests of the hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of a holiday in Sicily and we couldn't have made a better choice. The rooms are charmingly unique, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We want to make a particular mention of the reception staff, who were very friendly and helpful even with the language barrier.
This hotel was a good base...
