Really enjoyed our stay here. Accommodations were comfortable and very clean, and food in the bistro was excellent. Did not expect that quality of food in such a small remote location. The continental breakfast had better offerings than what is usually provided by a standard hotel chain - and it was not served on disposable dishes (really appreciated this and other efforts to be environmentally friendly). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with advice on things to do. Having Kynoch Adventures right next door was very convenient. We will be back!

Clean but not as nice as we expected from the website. Stove in room wouldn't work, refrigerator leaked. The Bistro on site was not good we were very disappointed in the taste of the food. Staff were very nice.

Spent three nights at the lodge. Pretty rustic but it’s clean and the staff are friendly. Having the Bistro at the lodge and Kynoc Adventures next door was great. They do a passsble continental breakfast.

I spent a couple of nights at the Mountain Lodge, having travelled from Tweedsmuir before catching the ferry to Port Hardy as part of a group trip. This was my favourite of all of the hotels / cabins that we stayed in. My room was extremely comfortable with a small kitchenette equipped with a coffee machine, stove, fridge and microwave. The hotel was very environmentally minded, with lots of little well thought out alternatives to the usual one use wonders you get in hotels. A jar of locally roasted coffee grounds and refillable dispensers for soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, again these were locally sourced and could be purchased from reception if that took your fancy. All in all a very pleasant stay, even if we managed to miss the Grizzly bear that visited the

Decided to stay overnight in Bella Coola after our ferry from Port Hardy. This hotel was booked through BC Ferries Vacations. If you are travelling to Bella Coola there is NOT a lot of options when it comes to Hotels....reserve ahead as there were some folks on the same ferry as us who got turned away because the hotel was full. It is rustic but clean, kitchen facilities are there if you wand to use them but we elected to eat at the Bistro (again, reservations recommended). All in all a good stay, friendly staff in both Andrew and Jacob....both of whom worked the front desk and the restaurant. Food in the Bistro was exceptionally good considering where we were.

My wife had options but very limited. The waitress knew what we were talking about and did make suggestions. My wife had a good house salad with a grill fried chicken breast. Salad greens fresh!! My clubhouse sandwich was very good also

Stayed in #6. Very comfortable room with nice king bed and full kitchen. Large bathroom with tub and shower. Bbq and pergola available as well. They are very environmentally focused which is nice to see. Attached is a lovely bistro. Staff were all amazing. It’s been hot few days, not all that typical for the area. Could have done with some air conditioning.

We stayer here for a couple of nights, good place to be. Very specious appartment, all clean and ok. Enthousiastic reception with a good explanation, friendly staff. Surroundings beautifull, lots of things to see, great nature. What could be improved is a little more attention, now very basic, for the breakfast.

We had arranged for diner but the front desk did not seem to know. The accommodation was huge - two bedrooms and full kitchen but we were staying one night and leaving early. We showed up for our 6:30 dinner but the place was busy so we waited for 45 minutes before our appetizer arrived. The shared seafood platter was good that we were forgiving about the wait. The entrees were very good. So, despite the service hiccups, I’m happy to recommend.

Hi there, I'm very sorry for the wait for your appetizer. We make everything from scratch and have a rather small kitchen unfortunately, with items as elaborate as the seafood share platter, there are delays from time to time. I am glad to hear that it was worth the wait. We have been receiving excellent feedback recently and I am glad that the quality hasn't suffered at times when we have been busier than expected. Thank you for the feedback! We hope you will visit again soon (and perhaps stay longer!)

What a beautiful place! Great location, wonderful and friendly staff and beautiful clean rooms. We traveled with our little dog and they were very accommodating. We had dinner in the restaurant on Friday night and I truly can’t say enough about the food, definitely a five star meal! We look forward to coming back next year!
