If you are looking for an experience that you and your kids will forever cherish, then Rigney's farm is it. Our two girls (ages 7 and 12) have declared to all friends and family upon our return that our visit to Rigney's farm was the highlight of their Ireland vacation. Caroline and Joe are exceptionally kind and gracious hosts. Their...

Fantastic stay! Would recommend staying here to anyone. The rooms are lovely, breakfasts are wonderful and the hosts are second to none. The house is very comfortable and the location is great. Helping with the farms animals was a real highlight to our trip.

If you're looking for a warm welcome on a Family run farm/look no further! Every animal on this farm is part of the family . Comfortable four poster bed & tranquil surroundings on the edge of the magnificent 700 acre Curragh Chase Forest. Welcomed with tea & apple crumble, next morning had a delicious breakfast-all free range, home reared, produced...

We only stayed one night, but wished we could stay longer. The farm is a REAL farm, not just one crop in the back, but lots of veggies for the family and animals, where everything is utilized on the farm. They are known for their pigs, but also have horses, cows, sheep, ducks, chickens, and geese! Everything for breakfast was...

I planned my holiday back to Ireland toward the end of this past summer. I had just spent nearly 3 weeks exploring many coastal areas when I visited in late June early July. I knew going back this time that I wanted even a more local experience. One where I could really get to know the people and how they...

My husband has already left a comment but i insist on saying if the best place to go with kids and if you want to have a relaxed holiday. Caroline and his husband made Cristina and Carlos, our kids, to have a brilliant...

Ditto the high praise from the other reviewers. The Rigney's built the house and farm themselves and it is beautiful. We learned so much in the too-short time we spent with them, regarding food, animal husbandry, cooking, Ireland, etc. Caroline even taught us to make soda bread! Can't wait to go back.

Rigney's Farm is an absolute delight. Joe and Caroline are wonderful hosts, and their farm is lovely. We were able to walk the fields with Joe while he fed the animals, and our breakfasts were made with eggs from the farm's chickens and bacon from the pigs. Caroline makes the best soda bread we had on our entire trip around...

Had a great overnight stay booked at very short notice Spring 2015. Miss 10 LOVED IT. Can I scream that loud enough! The folks were away and their daughter was our wonderful host. We were taken all over the farm and had lots of hands on experience with the animals, if only the pigs had their bubs when we were...

Wonderful, warm, comfortable, rustic vacation, beautiful farm surrounded by picturesque countryside. Caroline and Joe were perfect hosts, friendly and helpful as can be. Our girls loved the animals and open spaces, riding the horses, feeding the piggies, and playing with Chief and the other dogs. If you want a break from the urban grind, do yourself a favor and visit...
