We stay at Chateau Etoges quite a few times during our Winter and Summer seasons running our own hotel in the French Alps. It is a real treat to stopover and enjoy the beautiful gardens and sumptuous dinner. We simply love Etoges.

This was my second stay at this hotel. This time I chose it to celebrate with my family the birthday of my mother. We had two rooms: one in the Orangerie and one smaller one in the castle. The castle one, named " Louise" was very charming and looked freshly refurbished. My sister and me stayed at the Orangerie. Although the...

We picked this chateau as a bit of a wild card, but we've loved every moment! Brilliant service, beautiful location and chateau, great food and all with a few bottles of champagne. I think the bit the blew me away was the brilliant service. From anticipating our needs through to going the extra mile just to be helpful. The reception...

We stayed one night in Chateau D'Etoges on our return leg to the UK from the French alps. Firstly, it's a great 'midpoint' between the Alps/south of Lyon area and the UK, particularly on the return leg if you've got a few hours to do on the UK side. The Chateau is beautiful, with well manicured grounds and a gentle...

We booked this on a stop off from a driving holiday to Lake Como. What a treat! The Chatueax is charming, our room was excellent and joined onto a separate room for our daughters. We had a beautiful view of the moat and it wasn't fusty like a lot of these old places. There are plenty of games and bikes...

On our way back home to Belgium we ended our champagne weekend with a marvelous lunch in Chateau d'Etoge. As the weather was fantastic we had our champagne aperitif outside the orangery. Our lunch lasted almost 4 hours and was just gorgeous. Surely a place to remember and to get back soon.

An absolutely stunning place to stay, near Epernay, in the heart of the Champagne country. We loved this ancient chateau (medieval, with 17th and 18th century additions). Our room had a view over the moat, with swans and ducks! Large car park in the ground of the château. Free wifi. The breakfast in the main chateau was good, with local...

Big expectations of the chateau and orangerie. The location is great, the chateau is lovely. Our room didn't live up to its pricing 'in our opinion' - a little grubby around the shower area, no fridge, only one large towel in the room for two people [although we didn't ask for a second one in all fairness, because we shared...

A perfect location for us to break a journey from the UK to Italy. Delightful property with spacious, well appointed rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Dinner was the highlight - a superb menu at a reasonable price, although the wine served with the cheese was a little on the expensive side.

Having had to curtail a trip in the Alps decided at last minute to stay over in France. Made a booking via internet received a call straight back confirming and asking if we wanted to eat in restaurant. Got there at 1800..dead easy run off autoroute..excellent staff had opted for better room than we would normally take..but they have smaller...
