Breath taking as you come up the entry drive. A Hotel with a mote, what more could you ask for? Stayed in the Byzantine room in the Chateau. Loved everything from the creaking wood floors to the birds mud nests in the windows. The grounds were amazing. Natural spring feed fish ponds and fountains. Great nights sleep, even with the...

Just spent two nights here at this wonderful hotel. We had a room in the Orangerie which was a good size and had a large comfortable bed. Pleased to see tea making facilities in the room. We ate here both nights, one from their set menu and the second night from the gastronomic menu which was eight courses and wonderful....

We stayed one night in the Chateau on our way down to Provence. Travelling as a group of three (husband, wife and mother) we chose a room in the Orangerie which had an attached lounge made up into a comfortable small bedroom for my mother. The arrangement worked well. The beds were very comfortable and had the old fashioned sheet...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for these kind comments we had the pleasure to read on Tripadvisor! What a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your stay in Etoges on the way to Provence. Your family suite with AC (# 30) has an easy access from the parking via a rolling way + lift. But next time, we will...

We had a great stay at this Chateau and loved the feel. Our room had a wonderful view and it was fun to walk around the Chateau and village a little. We ate at the restaurant and it was excellent. We would definitely stay here again but next time we would do things a little differently. We felt the food...

We have stayed here a number of times before the last time nearly 8 years ago. Much has changed but much is still the same. We again chose to stay in the main building and the rooms are furnished in the classic style - a sort of faded elegance. The bathrooms and particularly the toilet area does not meet modern...

A two-night stay in this old, but charming hotel is a perfect location to start exploring the Champagne vineyards, since it's close to Epernay. The room was spacious and renewed, with all comfort. Breakfast is served with Champagne for those who like to start the day "couleur locale". The restaurant is in the orangerie; the food served is not too...

Dear TravellingMallet, Thank you very much for choosing our chateau for your recent visit in Champagne and for taking the time to share your kind comment I would like to inform you that we serve by the glass, 5 different champagnes, it is not really a "champagne tasting" as you suggest, but we hope that it start to help our...

We wanted to try out the 'stay at the chateau' - thing. The price was acceptable, so we booked a 2 night stay at Chateau d'Etoges. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room, inside the main building, was huge. The bathroom was renovated and new. The bed could've done with a new mattress and maybe a proper comforter...

I'd looked at the Chateau d'Etoges a few times as a possibility for an overnight stop in France, but never been sure, maybe because of some of the negative reviews, but on the basis of one night here in early June we've been missing out as a consequence of my caution. Our room in the Orangerie was good; bright, pleasant...

We have been to this hotel before and its a lovely experience, good service and English spoken. Ideal for a stopover as not too far from the main motorways or a weekend retreat just to chill out. This time we had a room in the Orangery which was large with a decent bathroom and comfortable king bed which I actually...

This Chateau is simply stunning! Staff were welcoming and attentive, and speak English. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a very authentic and decadent French feel, and the bathroom very spacious. The best thing was a having a long hot bath after a day of travel in the summer heat. The large picture windows opened to reveal the maot and gardens,...
