Absolutely fantastic stay , traveling alone with 13 year old , fellow travelers at turtle bay are very special all nationalities mixing so well in this beautiful setting , but I have to say as did John W in the last review it was very shocking to see the white family from Nairobi treat hotel staff so bad and fellow...

They arranged to pick us up from Airport for a price, but that was okay. They were on time. Rooms are nice and clean but basic-- not Fancy, but they do have AC which is needed. Has a patio for rooms with line for wet swimsuit. Food was buffet style and several choices but leaning toward Indian or African style--but...

Dear Reviewer Thank you for taking the time to give us such extensive feedback and we are glad that overall you enjoyed you stay. During the holiday times when schools are closed we do tend to attract a lot of families and therefore children. If you wish to come when it is a little quieter then we are happy to...

Lovely location, what a shame the Hotel is looking rather tired, I had an ocean view room, a great view but sadly the room was rather tired especially the bathroom, the shower itself was ok but the dreaded nylon curtain was not what I was expecting for the cost of the room I was hoping it would have been a...

Dear Reviewer Thank you for the feedback, We about to commence some room uplifts and the areas you have mentioned are some of those that will be targeted for improvement, With regards the rubbish on the beach this is unfortunately something which comes every year when the monsoonal winds prevail from the south east and rubbish dumped at sea is...

I have posted many reviews of TBBC as my wife and I have been spending up to six months a year here for many years now. However I am prompted to post another review. It is unfortunate, but I suppose inevitable, that you will come into contact with guests here that come with a very bad attitude problem, just got rid...

Hotel is an all inclusive resort that caters generally to families with kids. Singles and couples who prefer a quiet time may not necessarily fit in. Their is a quiet side for adults only with a private pool. The food is ok. However I found lunch was more impressive than dinner. Staff were friendly and went to any lengths to...

Dear Reviewer Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and I am glad that the staff made sure you were looked after. The Easter holidays do tend to be very popular with families and therefore children are abundant! Whilst we are an old hotel we are embarking on some room uplifts which are a little overdue...

Turtle Bay is full of fab activities for children with all you can eat buffets and sunbeds by the pool. However, claiming to be "Kenya's Responsible Resort" they really could do more for real Turtles. On the beach there's a wall of plastic sand bags that make it difficult for turtles to nest and, to make matters worse, the bags...

Dear Reviewer Thank you for your observations. We are very aware of the potential issues with regards the use of the sand bags as a sea defence. We are also supporters of the Turtle Watch project and the good works that they do in Turtle Conservation. Unfortunately during difficult trading times we are conscious of the need to protect our...

We had 12 blissful days here. Wonderful location right on the beach. Lovely gardens, Very friendly and helpful staff. Happy to accommodate any request. Great atmosphere: for kids - we didn't see our 13 year old daughter much as she was always playing with an International group of friends - and for adults, there was the quiet pool - if...

Dear Reviewer Thank you for your detailed feedback on your recent stay with us and we are delighted that everything worked so well for you and your family. We are also pleased to hear that your daughter had such a good experience with her windsurfing as did many other young teens over the Easter holidays. Kind regards and we look...

We love Turtle Bay - clean and cheerful with all inclusive food and drinks. Great for families. Good choice at mealtimes and Kids Club takes the load off. Entertainment for tourists is on every evening. Rooms are decent and the staff are friendly

Our 7th stay at Turtle Bay so we knew exactly what to expect, an incredibly friendly family oriented hotel with good facilities. The food is good, the rooms are bright and functional, the atmosphere is great, the staff very welcoming and the set up for children is lovely. Highly recommend if you want a break as well as your children...

Dear Reviewer It was lovely to see you and the family back again at Turtle Bay. It does work so well for families especially over the school holidays when there are lots of children of a similar age for them all to play with. We look forward to welcoming you back next year!! Kind regards Damian

My family and I wanted a break from Nairobi life. Turtle Bay Beach Club was a fantastic option. The staff could not be more attentive. They were always there to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The resort was always kept clean and tidy including the beach front where we spent most of our holiday. There were plenty...
