Yes, its incredibly expensive but if you break it down it down into 2 you get a great holiday: 1. The accomodation is a nice villa overlooking the Indian ocean, the cleaning staff do an amazing job with rooms and clothes (after a day of exercise) and the kitchen staff produce wonderfully, tasty and healthy food every day. 2. the...

Found Wildfitness on the Internet - it loved up to its name and more. Really enjoyed the whole experience from breathing exercises to running in the forests and jungle. I learned important aspects about my life I'd like to address as well as how I can easily incorporate a healthy (rather than gym and pure diet) into my life. I...

I had been looking for an active holiday for years, when I happened upon a list of the top 10 fitness retreats in the world by Conde Nast Traveler. I was already planning a volunteer trip to the Maasai Mara at the end of December and wanted to extend it. So, I was thrilled when I found one of the...

WIldFitness leaves no stone unturned to make you feel as though you are at one with your surroundings.. They push your physical and mental capabilities without compromising your health.. We absolutely LOVE Wildfitness – we have now been twice, both times to Kenya in February and there can be few better ways, both mentally and physically to escape the UK winter and return full of energy. The (de-)toxic combination of exercise, delicious (but healthy!) food and plenty of sleep is a potent cocktail guaranteed to send you home suitably...

I had one simple requirement for my last holiday this year: I wanted to feel better by the end of it. I’d had some lovely breaks with friends, but they had all been heavy on the wine and light on the exercise. And given my desk-bound city lifestyle I was starting to feel like I needed to take some dramatic...

"On arrival the first thing that takes your breath away is the entrance to Baraka House. That archway with the blues of the Indian Ocean is so tempting - you are simply lured into the wonderful world of Wildfitness….. I went for a holiday in the sunshine with a bit of exercise thrown in to keep me occupied. What I...

If you are tired from your work, want to recharge your batteries, and know you want to make some lifestyle changes, head on a Wildfitness course. Don't be put off if you feel your current fitness levels are lacking. This is an opportunity to relax and sleep as much as it is a course on natural movement. Fun is a...

I was looking to have a warm break in the depths of January somewhere beautiful and with some adventure thrown in. Also, travelling on my own I wanted to know that I would be with a group of like minded people and be safe and looked after. I love to be active and have fun but I also needed lots...

“Many say room 1 at Baraka is the room to choose it has a large wrap around balcony, however, all of the rooms are lovely though. Rm 3 is very spacious and has a lot of privacy. Rms 4 & 5 are on second level with their own private staircase each. Wi-fi is best on the roof but it is a perfect time and place to go as unplugged as you possibly can. Enjoy!”

“If you want luxury go for a room in the main house. If you only want a place to crash out after a hard day's training, then the more basic rooms near the pool 300 m from the main house are a sensibly priced alternative”
