Awesome experience. Steve and Nancy were awesome hosts and made us “Ontarians” feel very welcome, even with the language issues. Comfy (but “smaller”) bed, nice sitting area and a close walk to pretty good restaurants. Good accommodations, fantastic breakfast, overall very good!

We stayed in the Familiale suite on the second floor. It consists of one room with a double bed and a twin bed in an alcove with a curtain divider. The room has its own bathroom with shower. There’s no air-conditioning but there are two windows, which provide a decent breeze. Many trucks drive by through the night and it’s too hot to sleep with the windows closed.
I stepped on nail clippings on the floor early in the morning on my way to the bathroom and when I picked it up, I got long strands of hair in my hand as well (not mine). Apart from that, the room, sheets and bathroom were clean. The shower is miniscule but functional.
However, the caveat is that the beds are rock solid and immensely uncomfortable! My husband and I were in pain in the morning and our son, who can sleep anywhere, complained in the morning that his back hurt. The inn-keeper needs to change the mattresses in the Familiale room, not to be confused with the Famille room on the same floor. Maybe the other beds are more comfortable.
Breakfast is included and it’s homemade, hardy and delicious. Between us we had crepes, French toast, eggs and bacon, orange juice and coffee, fresh fruit and toast! Everything is included in the price ($95). Can’t beat that, or the inn-keeper’s hospitality but we won’t be staying here again.

We stayed 2 nights in the famille room. Had our own entrance off our private balcony. Was so nice to have that privacy. Our room was perfect. Spacious. Private bathroom. 2 single beds and a double. Having only 2 kids we used the extra bed for our luggage. The girls were so happy not to share a bed.
Communication with Carole was great. But be warned. Her English is limited. Be patient. She is such a lovely lady willing to accommodate.
We had a lovely stay!

We went all the way from Brazil to the Gaspé Peninsula with two small children. Made reservations two months in advance. On arrival, the manager denied straight forward that there would be a reservation under our name without even looking at his register. As we showed the confirmation email on our mobile telephone, he changed the argument: "This is a mistake, it happens, nothing we can do, sorry ". He made us feel as if we were wrong, didn't even apologise, when the mistake was his. At the end, considering this kind of reception, we were glad not to stay in his hotel and we do not recommend it at all.
