Detailed Reviews
We were very pleasantly surprised by this place. We booked it because they allow dogs and had a restaurant on-site. The check-in was extremely professional and efficient, the rooms very quiet and clean with a great view of the St Lawrence. We had both dinner and breakfast in our room with our dog, and it was very easy to order and bring to our room- the food was also very good quality and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend as a stop along this stretch and would be happy to stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised by these accommodations. The Hotel doesn’t have much curb appeal so we were worried at first. Upon entering and seeing the decor, we were set at ease. Steve at the desk helped us with checkin which was at 4pm rather than 3 as expected. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a huge window looking out on the ocean. The rims below had walkout to the beach behind and might also be nice . We did pay $275 for the upper room with full window so a bit pricy.
We had dinner in their restaurant (make reservations) and it was not only convenient but excellent. After dinner on Thursday , there was a musician set up at the pier and the whole neighborhood was out for a concert and dance. What a nice sense of community.
All in all a nice stop along the way.

We should have planned to stay longer. This hotel's views are amazing and you can hardly be closer to the water! The rooms are varied. We stayed in a modest room that wasn't fully renovated yet but our fellow traveller was in a fully renovated room which was nicely appointed. We basically sat at the window and watched the water and then a nighttime lightning storm over the water; walked the very long beach and just relaxed. It was awesome and a GREAT value.

We were a good customer for 10 years, unfortunately we are very disappointed with our 2 night stay. We had our room 1st floor sea view, patio door broken, difficulty closing and opening. Very dark lighting to the room..clean leash desired, for lunches it was good , very good service from the elderly lady who has been there for some time. For our one and only dinner in the dining room, steak fries at $32.00 ,steak asked bleeding medium and it was overcooked and hard...very small piece, inadequate service for our starters.. the waitress completely cut me off from the conversation when I ordered my starter she passed to my spouse , she ignored me..had to tell him again ....unfortunately this is our last time at Gaspesiana, the Pension needs major repairs and the ownership of the rooms leaves to be desired

Very disappointed with this Pension and we will never go back!! You have to go after the soap. We asked for a balcony; we only had a French balcony. Room above the kitchen; fan noises and back and forth until midnight. We are told that we cannot reserve a table near the windows for supper in the dining room because it is "first come, first served". It is bullshit because, when we arrived for supper, tables were open by the windows with a sign "Reserved"...

Very disappointed, I asked for a change of room because construction right next door, a lot of noise, I am told that everything is full, false! I tried to book on the website for the same day either, today and oh surprise there is room! Last time I was caught in this place!

We wanted to see Bas-Saint-Laurent, through expedia, there were a number of hotels with decent price discounts and amenities. What made us choose this hotel was it’s location. Through our own “back door”, we have a perfect view of the St. Lawrence River.
Someone travelling from a city, it was a nice experience somewhere so peaceful and the hotel room itself was great for us too.

A micro chamber
No fridge, no microwave
Not even the place to open a suitcase
No air conditioning, fan
We installed it once in bed because in the space of the room it was him or us
The tiny bathroom
A scandal to pay 160 Canadian dollars for such accommodation

Just spent one night at this hotel and the service, cleanliness, and food at the fine dining restaurant were top notch. Would definitely recommend as an excellent start or finish to a tour of the Gaspesie vacation. We were two couples traveling by car. The superior ocean view rooms on the second floor facing the water were just what we needed to get into vacation mode. Just a few minutes drive to the beautiful Jardins de Metis (Reford Gardens) which is a must see.

The location of the Hotel Le Gaspésiana is perfect, we enjoyed our short stay in the heart of the village of Ste-Flavie. Our room was located upstairs and had river views. Very large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back next summer.
