Stayed at Osmotherley for Christmas and used this pub several times. So friendly. Staff excellent. Tried several meals on the menu, all well cooked wholesome food. Great atmosphere. Thanks for making us welcome.

Called in for bar food and a drink early evening in July '17. Had been in previous lunchtime and enjoyed a pint. Very quiet. Went to bar and ordered pint from hand pump. Older man (not sure if owner/manager/staff) with grey hair served us. AS...More

A very nice country pub with honest food and service, good friendly place good prices on both food and drinks. A lot of people drink outside when the weather is good. The host and staff are friendly and helpful.

Very nice especially after 24 miles of hiking. Very accommodating. Brought your bags to your room. Very nice room. Lots going on in pub. Pub was kind of loud. Church bells were charming next to our rooms. I was so tired I didn't eat any...More

We arrived for a Saturday night stay prior to undertaking the Lyke Wake Walk the following day. Explained to the young man on arrival that we would be leaving early before breakfast and he advised that cereals etc would be left out in the bar...More
