Again we found ourselves making a bit of a last minute booking and Le Spinaker was a small detour and seemed decent enough at first website glance. In reality, the place looks a bit like hotel Citroen from the film The Life Aquatic, if you haven't seen it Hotel Citroen is a run down dump! Le Spinaker looks like it...

We stopped off here by boat to view the hotel as we have friends coming down to stay in September. We liked the ambiance so much, we decided to stay for lunch! It was a lovely sunny day and the restaurant adjacent to the pool was a lovely spot. The food was tasty and very good. The wine was good...

Not the first time here. Over all the years the so called 'free wifi' has always been a travesty of a working internet connection. Unfortunately this has not changed with the new ownership. The ookla speedcheck was not even able to begin a speed test because the latency of the wifi (or the internet router?) was so ridicolously lousy. Also,...

Le Grau du Roi was our favorite stop on our 3 week tour of France. An unpretentious fishing village, this port has so much to offer! This hotel is tucked back on the marina, and there was ample private parking. (You do need a car to get around this area if you want to get to the "old town" by...

The surrounding area is rather dominated by concrete block hotels and gaudy beachside resorts. The Spinaker offers a peaceful place to escape in the middle of the marina, with an excellent restaurant to boot. Beware the mozzies though! Breakfast is expensive, but cooked bacon, sausages and eggs are available, which make a nice change from the standard chocolate and bread...

From the bottom of our peninsula, we shout you a great 'thank you' ! Just one thing maybe ... Breakfast is cheap : you can benefit salted and/or sugared pastries ; you can serve you as much as you want ;-) Hope we see you soon for a new great escape ! ^^

Many thanks to share your opinion. We are very happy you enjoy in our Hotel and we promise you to do better and to suggest you the best in our Restaurants … Garden Grill and Spinaker Restaurant are successfully and have a little capacity … That’s why, we advise to our guests to reserve at least one week sooner. Unexpectedly nice location in the midst of unexpectedly nice Port Camargue's almost 2000 moorings - and appropriately named and pleasantly styled establishment. Our room (Suite Africaine) was generously proportioned (and could even have slept four) while the acclaimed restaurant lived up to its reputation by offering a first class cuisine with a remarkably light touch. Staff were also welcoming and...

Thanks to let us know your opinion. The outdoor swimming pool is heated in the first October. Later, outside temperature is so low, it is not recommended to use it ! Instead of, you can of course benefit our private jacuzzi (free access). Indeed, this pool is to relax you ... For fitness, we suggest a free area dedicated to...

Many thanks to let us know your opinion. Indeed, with our famous wind 'Mistral', from one day to another, the pool can get some sand and others needles pine. The great location, on a peninsula, can offer you a peaceful place, surrounded only by beautiful boats and marinas. Five minutes driving, you can join the three nearest beaches. We stopped here overnight having arrived in the area and used trip advisor to locate a suitable place to stay. I can confirm the reviews were accurate and the place is excellent. The rooms are arranged in a single story arrangement in blocks or 10 or so. Like private cabanas around the circular shaped pool. This is what I would...

What excellent sum up ! Do not hesitate to come back as soon as the sun is shining in order to benefit outside activities in Le Grau du Roi/Port-Camargue or maybe to go and lunch in our Restaurant 'Garden Grill' or why not have a swim in our heated swimming-pool ?!
