This hotel is in the process of being refurbished and the beds are much improved. Our room had a super- king bed with a new mattress. The children's beds also had new mattresses and duvets - better than the blue blankets you get in some Novotels. The bedroom also had a new carpet. One of the waiters in the restaurant...

This hotel is a typical Novotel and the staff are very nice. The problem is that as a parent of a 2 and 3 year old we were totally unable to relax. The garden has no fence between it and the car park so our children went down to the play area and then ran continuously into the car park....

Location: in a out of town retail area of Dijon with busy roads. Was an overnight stop on way to Alps. Have previously stayed at Novotel in Reims (which is fantastic) but this is an older hotel with much smaller, more tired rooms. When there are four of you in one room, there's very little floor space once the pull...

Great little stop off hotel on the way to the alps. Always clean. White crisp bed linen, great bar, very good breakfast. Friendly and polite staff. Rooms cramped for four. But perfect for one night or two. Sofa bed devides into two beds much more comfortable for two older children or one can be folded away to provide more space...

We stayed for one night at this Novotel and it was not a good experience. Staff were nice and checking was fast and easy but we had one major problem that no one could sort out: no hot water at all. We had been travelling for over 10 hours and had as much drive the next day but the hotel...

We enjoy the location and the welcome from the reception along with the bar. A very convenient location with also plenty of restaurants close by. Easy to find. We were given a room on the second floor, no elevator. This was okay for us, maybe it's written on the website too we didn't check so if you have mobility issues...

We booked this on our way home and found ourselves back in the nineties. This hotel has everything you need and the rooms are clean and offer all comfort but are very noisy. You could hear the kids in an other room. Carpet on the floor is passé. Service, breakfast is OK but IBIS offers the same quality these days...

The novotel brand should normaly be a bit better than ibis and ibis styles and you do pay more for it. Unfortunately this hotel is dated and the room had various faults. The good thing is that the staff dealt with the various issues really well.

This was a last minute choice as we were tired but the hotel was clean, welcoming, busy and an ideal overnight stop. Had never been to a Novotel before but on this basis will definitely do this again when in France. Food both for dinner and breakfast was well cooked and had a wide choice of dishes for all types...
