Hotel was very nice and clean. I stayed here while having surgery in the hospital nearby. Wifi was very good signal. Minibar selection was good. Staff on hand whenever they were needed. I didnt eat here but a friend said the food was nice and good value. I liked the fact that was an old prison and they have quotes...

An unusual hotel in a nice setting close to all amenities. Recommended. Although they don't serve dinner they give an excellent breakfast and the town has a whole range of international restaurants including many traditional Belgian eateries.

It was a reformatory, and it is a place full of history. The rooms at last floor are big, clean, nice and very different each others. The breakfast is international, honest. Outside you can find a big parking. Is more cheaper respect other worst accommodation around.

Stayed here twice for 5 days for business. The first time I stayed on the third floor in a Deluxe room, which was very spacious and modern, but was not fully accessible by elevator (only goes up to the 2nd floor and then stairs) and had an open bathroom (which made for a chilly shower). The second stay I spent...

I stayed here this week as a medical tourist. I got a bad vibe here as I am psychic. In the middle of the night last night our door opened, there was nobody there! I did find the hotel dark and oppressive, as the previous institutional use has been built into the modern hotel as a feature. Good points are...

The hotel team offered a good service, rooms are nice and quite big. The area is quiet, good restaurant close by in walking distance. Lots of parking space. Some shops close by. Would stay there again.

Came here for a 2 night break and fell in love with this unusual but comfortable hotel. Formerly a prison, the Lodge has been completely and compassionately renovated and works really well. Location isn't near hustle or bustle of city life....its relaxed yet sufficient with a Lidl, fast food and shops in a 5 minute walking distance. Lots of guests...

The building is historical and has been modernized beautifully. Rooms are large with comfortable bed and high ceilings. Breakfast is tasty and of good quality. It's possible to walk to the hotel from the train station bit you walk through a dodgy area so better to take the taxi.

This hotel is actually very surprising. On approach we thought it was a joke, like we were being dumped in a slum. But once inside the hotel and you begin to appreciate it's practicality it really is amazing. The designers done a fantastic job converting an old abandoned prison into a very modern hotel. Suitable for anyone really. Paintings and...

The staff at breakfast was very unfriendly and the people at the reception where of no help. Of course we were not allowed to speak with the manager to discuss our problem and solve it at the same moment. The only thing the receptionist could offer as a solution was to send a mail. As I refused she offered a...
