#1 of 7 Speciality lodging in Zaventem
Travellers' Choice
Zaventem Getaway Residence Saventa lies embedded in nature, nicely tucked away between the quiet Zaventem town centre and the largest airport in Belgium. Saventa offers an attractive mix of Deluxe and Superior flats with airco, some of them sporting a large terrace. Getaway Zaventem is situated close to the town’s stores and other facilities. It is also a hiker’s and biker’s paradise, with many bucolic trails in the vicinity. Downtown Brussels and Zaventem International Airport are right around the corner.

Property's Favourite Review
Because of lockdown for coronavirus I had to stay 2 months in this hotel instead of founding an apartment. It was definitely great. The rooms are more than OK with a very nice shower and all the comforts that gave me the feeling like to stay at home. Here I want to highlight something different that I get from you and the rest of staff during this strange time: I had the hotel still open (I saw many were just closed); cleaning room always available; Any question via email was always answered ; and a general care from the entire staff was simply great. Then I never felt alone inside the hotel, because I knew someone could have helped me just in case. In their website is written GETAWAY - SHORT STAY, well probably this is their typical business case, but instead the hotel is more than fine also for very long periods. Looking forward to come back in Bruxelles, looking forward to stay again in this hotel.

This is a decent hotel at a good price near the Brussels airport. Our room was long and narrow with a pull out sofa at one end (which we used - we were tired on arrival and didn't ask to change the room) and a single bed at the other end. Room was clean, nicely decorated, good internet, with a small "kitchen area", I guess OK for a quick breakfast or making a light lunch. However there is one BIG problem: the reception desk is only manned for 5 hours/day 3PM-8PM! If you have any issues outside this small window, you are completely on your own: need a pillow, blown fuse, toilet running, lost key, etc. etc. When we arrived at 5PM, there was a couple totally befuddled trying to use the outdoor screen to enter the hotel. Luckily the receptionist heard us knocking on the door came to the door to let us in - they don't even have a button to push to ring for help! She was friendly and helpful and booked our taxi early the next morning to the airport for us. There are several restaurants available nearby, but we were really anxious coming back from dinner after 8 PM that evening when we realized that if our key card didn't work at the hotel entrance or our room we were screwed with our belongings/passports etc in the room and our overseas flight leaving in 10 hours. While the price was good for the quality of the room, the EUR20 taxi cost from the airport and EUR15 back probably ate up any savings, and these were at equivalent hotels with a 24 hour desk and free shuttle bus service. Maybe they have a number to call for help if needed (on check-in the receptionist didn't offer one), but without a SIM card for our overseas cell phone this would hardly help. We'll be back in Brussels in a few months and no way we're staying here again. For me, if you don't have a local contact, the risk of staying here is not worth it!

I have already been visited this hotel the third time. There is no 24/7 reception but it is no a problem, you just need to mention your the late arrival (after 8PM) during booking and hotel staff will send all necessary instructions. Rooms are nice and clean. Rooms on the ground floor with window to the street are a little more noisier.

Have stayed here numerous times in the last year and quality has remained consistent. NON-SMOKING Rooms (Bravo) with kitchenettes incl. microwave & Hot water boiler. Ironing board with Iron. Grocery store within 5 min walk (around the corner). Bus Stop across and just up the street. Amenities purchasable via machine. Prima facility

This is a charming hotel located very close to the Brussels airport. The room had an eclectic 1930/1975 vibe. My room was clean and had AC. Just one word of advice ring the bell on the top of all the buttons in order to be buzzed in on the front door facing the street.
