Me, my husband and some friends went on an impromptu beach trip. We decided to go to Virgin Beach Resort in Laiya. Rate for a day trip is only php300.00 plus php 1350 for a dining parasol. It was affordable but we where surprise that they asked us to pay the same rate for my 2 yr old Godson. Anyway,...

This resort is south of Manila and is easily accessible, 3hour drive, using the South Luzon Expressway. This is our 3rd time to be in this resort. We were not very happy the first time we stayed in this resort simply because of the restrictions imposed on the guests, like: no drinks nor food items bought from outside are allowed...

Thank you very much Myrna V for giving us a second chance and a third! We are glad you enjoy the privacy and quiet that the resort offers and very pleased that you have noted the improvements we have worked on through the years. Please note though that we still have our 4 course plated meals during the slower season...

We were there on a day trip last June 6. Pros 1. White sand 2. Very accommodating staff 3. Communal bathrooms were clean and spacious (the showers are a different story). 4. Beach front was big. 5. We didn't feel like "second class citizens" despite being day trippers. 6. There was a sign warning of sea urchins (we were lucky...

My friends and I decided to make a last ditch beach effort before summer officially ends this year. Most resorts were fully booked and we wasted no time reserving Virgin Beach. It is, after all, arguably the best resort in Laiya--boasting the widest shoreline and perhaps the biggest rooms. Yet, the long and short of it is that Virgin is...

Hello, we stayed at Virgin Beach Resort and loved our stay, we loved the peace and serenity of the place. Yes there are no tv - the place is conducive to a peaceful talk with your significant other. This place is a great short escape from Metro Manila. The beach is ok- not perfect and there is some rubbish but the resort is very well kept and the rooms are quite unique and great for couples or families. Pick your time of year - we went at chistmas and got very bad weather..
