I have just returned from Bitacora after a week with a friend and felt that it was great value for money. Clean and tidy, the area was quite but only a 10 minute walk from bars, restaurants and the beach. The breakfast was great, no complaints. Also found the man on reception so helpful with local attractions and what buses...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on this forum. We offer clean comfortable budget accommodation. At a very reasonable price. And as you point out, with friendly staff. And an excellent location. I have said many times before, we are a 2 Star Hotel. But I feel the cleanliness and friendliness is important to point out....

A bit late sharing my thoughts but I felt it was still necessary a year on. I booked the Bitacora Apartments through Budget Travel and I was a bit sceptical given it was a package deal however the reviews stood to its high rating. The complex is extremely clean and private. Apartments are your standard 2/3 star rating but extremely...

Better late than never! And thank you for writing your review. As you point out, the complex is spotlessly clean. And I think we offer very good value for money. That said, we are planning to upgrade one of the blocks for Summer 2015, so we will be offering more upmarket apartments with air con included! So keep an eye...

Took our 9 month old for first holiday end of Sept this year. Weather was excellent and the town itself is great, with a fantastic promenade. Plus points to the accommodation are the pool area which was spacious, very clean and a well maintained pool. Friendly cleaning and pool staff. Very quiet with no late night noise. Good bathroom. Downsides...

First of all thank you for taking the time to write your review and share your thoughts, both positive and negative with other readers. I do take your point about the resort probably not providing much in way of areas for kids. But really any of the hotels that do provide these areas and clubs reflect it in the price....

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely review. We are delighted that you enjoyed the complex and the atmosphere and food in the pool bar. We hope to have one full block upgraded to superior apartments for Summer 2015, with new beds! So you will need to book one of those next time!. The sun...

Yes its basic, however as others have said the rooms are comfortable some have aircon, most overlook the pool area, yes some of the furniture is showing its age and need replacing but all is functioning. It seems many of its...

We went to Bitacora on 12th September for 7 nights. We had read mixed reviews about the complex but went with an open mind. We shouldn't have worried. We stayed in Apt 207 which is upstairs with aircon. The apt was clean and sufficient for our needs. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone. The pool...
