Very glad that we chose Melia Jardines del Teide for our first visit to Tenerife. It is in probably the best position overlooking the resort of Adeje with stunning views and lovely gardens with waterfalls. We found very little to fault on the whole and enjoyed our stay. The food quality was very good and we felt we had more...

We absolutely love this hotel having stayed in it 5 times, and brought friends too. So it is with heavy heart that we report the food standard has fallen. In general, the 2017 food was not as healthy or fresh as it has been in the past. It felt like a new chef was in post and there wasnt much...

This hotel is not up to the usual Melia standards. From check-in through to check-out there were issues with the stay. First the check-in, the front desk employee never welcomed me or even smiled during that first engagment. She then proceeded to tell me she couldn't check me in because the second person was not there yet - something I...

This was a great 3 night stay for my mum and I, although for my mum there were a lot of steps and a long walk to centre. We couldn't fault the hotel itself with all the staff we came across very helpful and polite. Not having tried this before, the level was a great addition to our stay. The...

Stayed 20th -27th Jan 2017 Having stayed in several other hotels in the resort this hotel has just about got it right for the guests. From the moment we arrived at reception we were greeted with a smile and a professional attitude to its guest from Victoria. Our room was a good size with TV showing several English channels, fridge...

This is a long review, so I've broken it down into several titles so you can skip to what's relevant to you: LOCATION, HOTEL, FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT LOCATION: If you want real Spain, the area is not for you. Costa Adeje is mainly hotels but if you want a relaxing break it's ideal. Just down the road is a mall with...

Wonderful hotel set in the most beautiful scene at the top of Costa Adeje. We opted to stay All Inclusive, which is highly recommended. Breakfast options were plentiful and lunch/snacks by the pool were a great addition. Dinner service was less appealing as options were quite limited and bland, which meant we ate out a couple of nights. However, the...

We arrived having booked this deal as a 'late getaway' after a very traumatic flight (apparently there had been a storm which forced us to 'abort' our landing but then arrive safely (phew!)) When we finally arrived at the hotel it looked fabulous - a very large reception with water features, settees etc - bliss. However at check in we...

“Don't be afraid to ask if you are not happy with your room. The hotel staff are very helpful and, unless completely full, I am sure they will do their best to give you an alternative. I heard someone thanking them for doing just that when she was checking out.”

“Built into the mountainside, with the pool area at -2 floor, and the reception at floor 5 - lifts are swift and plentiful so doesnt really matter which floor your room is on. Good views from all levels. Is the extra money for The Level room- pool and service worth it? Definitely not.”
