The location is fantastic in the old town on a very quiet and quiet street, a few minutes walk from all points of interest.
The place is very nice and cozy, decorated with very good taste.
The treatment of the staff was excellent, both Nancy and Angela with their warmth make you feel at home, they welcome you in an exceptional way and help you in every way possible.
The breakfast was very complete and exquisite, fresh fruit, bread, a variety of typical sweet things, jams, cheese, freshly made eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, very delicious coffee and tea.
The room was spacious and clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, it had a small kitchen area with a refrigerator, kettle and microwave. Every day they left bottles of water.
Keep in mind that there is no elevator, so luggage or if you have mobility problems may be a problem.

This hotel is a really good value for staying in Corfu Town. The owner was really nice, they make you great breakfasts in the mornings, and it’s a great location- easy to walk to things. While the water in Corfu Town isn’t drinkable, they provide ample bottles of water for drinking and brushing your teeth. There were a couple issues with the ac (set at 25c in our room and we were told that adjusting the temperature would break it). The bathroom window was also open when we arrived. We closed it to cool the room and found out why it had been left open. A slight sewage-like smell (common in many European hotels). We found ways to work around those things and still had a really nice time. Best breakfast we had on our trip and a really great value overall. Thanks for having us!

This is a real gem - in a perfect location for sightseeing, great room and lovely breakfast, especially the Greek scrambled eggs and fresh orange juice. All the staff did their utmost to make our stay comfortable, which was somewhat difficult for them as there was a problem with the air-con in our room, and give us helpful tips of how to get to the best places. I would definitely return if going back to Corfu town or needing an overnight stay before returning to the airport as it is only 10 minutes away by taxi.

From the initial welcome to assistance through our departure (looking after bags, children, provision of supplies!), we could not have asked for more from this hotel. We have stayed at many 4 and 5* hotels but the bespoke customer service and location tops many others. If you want a perfect location to explore Corfu old town, together with clean rooms and a great quality breakfast - ignore the official 'stars' and book here. As a family we were given the top floor rooms 5 & 6 which allowed us all to stay together and our teenagers to comfortably spread out with an additional mezzanine level. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was leaky in one room which meant the our sleep was disturbed - this was disappointing for us but once this is sorted for other travellers - there should be no other complaints.

Stayed for two nights at the start of our holiday. Absolutely charming guest house. We were able to check in late and only a ten minute taxi ride from the airport.
Our room was very comfortable and well equipped with a kitchenette and good supply of water.
Breakfast was lovely and cooked by very friendly staff who would cook whatever you wanted in addition to a cold buffet selection of sweet and savoury. Freshly squeezed orange juice and various coffees.
We were given a map of the old town and suggestions of what was good to visit during our stay.
A rustic and very comfortable guest house with fabulous staff. We will definitely return!

The included breakfast is very good. The room is super clean and comfortable. Air-conditioning and TV worked perfectly. There's a small kitchen which is really useful. The location is in the heart of Old Town, and this was the main reason for us to choose this place. Communication with the owners were really good and we always got quick response. The shower in our room was not placed high enough to wash our hair (we had to use one hand to hold the shower while washing the hair). The price is pretty high, you can pay less and stay in some resort near the airport (3km from the old city) but in our case the priority was to be in Old Town. In August there's no place to park for free on the street at all (at least near the hotel), so we have to pay plus 3 euros per day for parking in the closer parking lot.

Dear Melissa, thank you for sharing a great value comment for us, as this is one of the ways that we can feel appreciated and trying to improve our services, as well. It was a pleasure for us to host you in such a joyful time for you. Your fine-grained positive review gιve us the chance to put ourselves about the "displeasure" points of your comments. Accommodations in the Historical Old City of Corfu of the same category as ours, have a price range, more or less, like us, considering the amenities and that all of worth visiting places are in walkable distances, as you mentioned very suitably. Referring to the parking issue, we will respond with the abovementioned "historical centre theme", like in most of the historical centres of the world, something that all of us, visitors & locals, find it difficult and inconvenient sometimes... We are truly sorry that our upper shower fitting gave you hard time in having a shower and that's a point that we will take it under improving consideration as it is important for us to justify our facilities. Wish you all the best for your "upcoming" joy of life and we hope that we will have the opportunity to have all three of you, again with us in the future! Take good care and stay strong! With our kindest regards, The Locandiera team

This little boutique hotel offers an excellent experience to guest. Anastasia offered a friendly and warm welcome, inviting us to sit and enjoy a treat while checking in. She also gave us a number of tips on what to see and circled many excellent restaurants on a map.
The room (#4) was spotless, unique and well sized. Comfortable bed with nice linens. We were provided with endless bottles of complimentary water.
Breakfast was excellent, ample amounts of homemade pastries and breads, fruits, cheeses.
Location was perfect, steps from all the sites, the new fort and 10 minutes to the old fort.

This small b and b is ideally situated in the heart of Corfu town near to restaurants, wine bars, shops and tourist sights. The staff are so friendly and helpful, offering personal service and excellent breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble and I was amazed and very pleased when returning to our room on the afternoon of my birthday there was a card and bowl of hyacinths from the staff. I had only mentioned that it was my birthday because we wanted a recommendation for a good restaurant for that evening. In many years of travelling no hotel - even 5 star ones- have given a birthday card and gift. Thank you so much.

Had a wonderful 3 day stay at Locanderia! Great welcome and explanation of the town by great staff. Wonderful and plentiful breakfast every morning. The Greek scrambled eggs were amazing! Our room was large with comfortable beds, and had small kitchenette with dishes, fridge, and microwave. Centrally located with easy access to shops, restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend!

I think the taxi was 12-15 Euro and it only took 10 min at the most. It was a great location, great breakfast and wonderful room.
Locandiera is situated at the central square of the old city of Corfu which is about 7 km away from the marina of Gouvia.
Dear Mandy,
greetings from Locandiera.
The nearest beach to walk to is inside the Old Fortress(about 300 meters from Locandiera) and at Garitsa's Bay/windmill (about 1 km from Locandiera).
A lot of locals are taking their bath there, also.
Kind regards,
on Locandiera's behalf
Anastasia Paschali
We do not have private parking, but public parking is 100 meters from the guest house and costs 3 euros. As well as roαd is 40m far away and you can find free parking!
