Our stay here was wonderful. We really felt like we experienced the real Corfu, met some wonderful people and ate amazing food! The villa was clean and had everything we could have wished for. The pool and it’s views are perfect and Nikos and his family, the best hosts. Thank you for a memorable stay and we hope to come back soon!

A perfect accomodation in a lovely village. The villa is beautiful , clean and has an amazing view, a lovely swimmingpool, a beautiful garden, lots of privacy and above all very nice and welcoming people. We loved every day and will definitely come back if we go back to Corfu. The best place the island of Corfu offers if you like a true Greek feeling, tranquility and within a half hour you can reach the beaches and interesrying points for visiting.

I've spent my holidays in several villas and apartments before, but Villa Armonia was the best so far. I liked that every little detail was carefully selected. Didn't felt that something is missing even once! Also must say that beds and pillows were so comfortable, that it can even beat some 5* hotel! We enjoyed bbq, chillout pool area, local Sokraki taverna, the view and great host. It truly was a great holiday.

Agallis Residence is the perfect location if you are looking to spend your vacation in a peaceful place. If you are looking for a place with both mountains and seaside, you can find the perfect place for you at Agallis. The place is very beautiful and Ἑλένη`s (Helen) cooking surprises are delicious. We spent our honeymoon in Agallis residence and it was PERFECT! We came as strangers and we left as friends. We are grateful to Stogianno`s family and we are looking to spend our next vacation at Agallis. Iulia and Vlad

We were greeted by Elani who looked after us all week, baking lovely cakes to fatten us up! The Villa Gallini was spotless, well equipped and we wanted for nothing. There was my girlfriend and I with a 3 year old and we fitted just nicely into the villa with a bit of room to spare. The village itself is beautiful as are the views from the pool - book us in for next year please! You definitely need a car but it's only a short drive to most places. There is a place to get bread and vans that sell fish, veg and meat most mornings.

We were travelling along the coast of some of the Balkan countries on our way to Corfu when we booked this hotel while in Sarande, Albania. It was a last minute booking and we did not really have time to look further. That was our lucky strike, as we could not have picked a better place to stay in / near Corfu. Agallis Residence, which is in fact a home away from home, is located in Sokraki, about 25 km from Corfu Ferry terminal and 20 to 30 minute drive to the island beaches. We arrived at this property late afternoon and were warmly welcomed by the landlord family with local welcome drinks and homemade cookies. They showed us Villa Armonia, the house reserved for us, it can accommodate up to 10 people. It is extremely well furnished and artistically decorated. It has a breath taking view of the mountain and the sea below. The swimming pool is excellent and big enough to relax and enjoy the scenery around. The village is very quiet and small with about 200 inhabitants all year long but in summer, in summer people return to Sokraki to visit their families. The village is like one big and extended family! On the day we arrived, 13 August, coincided with a village get together and the property owner invited us very warmly to attend. So we attended that get together never to be missed if you happen to be there between 10 and 15 August. It looks they have other functions as well. The get together was for us an occasion to mix with the locals, something we always like to do in our travels. It was a memorable night. Breakfast was not included ,however the landlady, a very nice lay treated us with coffee and green figues and fruit from their garden below , which were very delicious. There is an excellent restaurant in the village where we had dinner, the food was exquisite and the cost was very reasonable. (I will write a review about it separately).

We are a family of 7, 5 children aged 17,15,8 and twins 3.5. We stayed in the largest villa of the two (the highest one up in the pictures). The house was beautiful, it had 2 rooms with double beds, one room with 2 single beds and one room where 2 singles had been pushed together - myself and my husband stayed here. There were wardrobes in each room and the rooms were immaculately decorated and the beds were comfortable. On the ground floor was a well appointed bathroom and the kitchen/living area. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to make meals with. The cupboards had some everyday items and Elena had provided a wonderful welcome basket to get us through the first morning.
Elena lives on the property, and comes in to clean the house every three days with another lovely lady. They did a amazing job considering how much mess the children made! Hehe Elena was a wonderful lady who was always there if we needed to ask anything and helped us so much. Niko was also fantastic and also helped us whenever we asked. We also got to meet the rest of their family and they were all friendly and positive and very generous whenever we saw them :-)
The pool was lovely, the twins could stand up at the shallow end which was great. The deep end was maybe 140cm deep.
The village was a traditional Greek village so if you want touristy stuff look else where. There is a playground which we went to everyday, a bakery, a taverna, a cafe and a taverna/little shop selling essentials/cafe. I could not recommend the last place enough, it's right across the road from the brightly colored cafe, looks a bit dark but it's owned by one of the nicest people we met there. The twins called him bestefar which means grandad because he reminded them of their grandfather. We started going to him when we realized that the cafe across the way was getting all the business, he was very generous with sweets for the kids. We later found out that this other cafe had made agreements with all the tourist operators whereby they had to take all the tourists there. We thought that was unfair so we only went to bestefar's or papous in Greek (probably spelt that wrong hehe) he sold Greek salad, grew the vegetables and made his own olive oil, feta cheese and olives, it was amazing!!! So we had that many times and many soft drinks there :-) The nearest supermarket is about 30m away.
Back to the house, the gardens were beautiful with roses and the biggest lavender I have ever seen in a row of about 10 meters! There are fruit trees everywhere with peach, plum, Apple, fig aswell as a little allotment with tomatoes, melons, aubergine and many other things - everything tasted like heaven. There was also a large bbq and seating area on our terrace.
I really can't say enough good things about the family running these villas or the house/gardens, we will definitely be back! So save us the same weeks in 2017 Nikos!!

We spent 10 wonderful days at Agalis residence, a traditional guest house situated in a beautiful greek village - Sokraki-.everything was super, the hosts who cooked for us delicious deserts, the spectacular view of the mountains and the Adriatic sea, the fresh air of the mountain and not the last, the traditional villa where every piece of furniture seemed to be carefully chosen and put in her place to give the value to the house.I recommend to everyone to try this greec-corfiot experience at the Agallis residence!

Simply the best location if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation. In Agallis residence you are coming back to the pure nature but with all modern facilities. The hosts are incredible and very friendly. The family atmosphere was created by Nikos and his charming mom Mrs. Eleni, with a welcome pack and drink and incredible local homemade sweets. The best was the olive oil from Nikos father olive orchard near Athens which was highly appreciated. The garden is huge and plenty of fig trees, apple trees and vegetables and you can have fruits and vegetables as much as you want. The house was cleaned up and all the used towels were replaced twice a week. Vila Gallini have a quite small bedrooms but you don’t come here to stay in bed. To reach the Sokraki village you need a car but the location is very good if you want to see all the north part of the island (the best beaches in Corfu).
All in all is a very nice location with very nice and friendly people.

As a seasoned traveller, I'd rank this as one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. We brought two children - a seven-year-old and a baby - and stayed in the Villa Gallini. From the start we were enchanted by the views stretching across the sea to Albania, the infinity pool where swallows skimmed the surface of the water in the evening, and the extensive gardens scented with jasmine, camomile, and roses. The villa itself was pristine, with two beautiful bedrooms - one a double room with a wrought iron bed, and one a twin bed set-up which had a travel cot provided for the baby. The kitchen was well resourced, and we were greeted with a wonderful welcome tray which included a bottle of olive oil, homemade limoncello, freshly baked biscuits, a pot of honey, and sachets of butter. Eleni was an extraordinary host - every other morning she'd pop by with something freshly baked, and was always on hand to give advice about where to go to, or to provide anything we needed. The village itself was tiny and charming, and we found it very easy to go for half-day trips to lovely locations including Palaeokastritsa and Agios Stefanos. We'll be back!
