We had a room on the 3rd floor which had amazing views of the sea & surrounding area. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location where you can easily walk or catch the bus into town or explore Mon Repos park. The room was spacious, clean & bright. We had fresh linen everyday as well as a big bottle of water which we really appreciated. The breakfast buffet & service was great, fantastic array of food. We also paid for the dinner buffet on several nights and thought it was fantastic value for money & for the range of food on offer. My sister & I had a wonderful trip to Corfu and we both agreed that the highlight was staying in this lovely hotel. The staff were exceptional, they were so friendly, helpful, welcoming & warm. A special shoutout to Kostas and the team for making everyday so enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at Mon Repos Palace and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The staff were excellent, really helpful and friendly. A special shout out to the Maitres d'hotel who greeted us every morning at breakfast with a warm smile and chat and went above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoyed their meal.

The hotel itself was spotless and the rooms were cleaned daily, you could have fresh towels & linens as regularly as you’d like. The views from the balcony were amazing and the Nespresso machine/pods and ability to make tea in the room was a good perk.

The location of the hotel was perfect, close enough to walk to the old town but far enough out so that it was very relaxing and you’d access right outside to a beach and various swimming areas. If you didn’t want to head to the old town for lunch or dinner there were plenty of great restaurants very close by or you could eat in the hotel.

The breakfast had such a big selection of hot, cold, savoury, healthy and sweet options and the quality of the food and ingredients was top tier.

The place just had a really relaxed feel to it and the fact it was adults only was great.

The hotel is very pretty and extremely clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the holiday reps seem to visit frequently but we did not use them. We stayed bed and breakfast but had some wonderful meals in the buffet which we would highly recommend as the restaurant staff are wonderful especially Mr Kosta and Efi we had a couple of meals out with friends, but once we tried the hotel buffet we eat at the buffet every night. The cocktails are lovely and the bar list is very varied. My daughter is coeliac so requires a gluten free diet, the chef personally showed her which items on the buffet she could eat and were very knowledgeable about what she could and could not eat even down to which items would be cross-contaminated and not suitable for her. There were plenty of dishes for her to choose from and they offered to make her gluten free bread, pasta and cakes if she wanted it. She did not try the bread or pasta as there was plenty of food on the buffet to choose from ,but she did try the cake which she said was delicious. I am disabled and a wheelchair user I requested a room with a shower which the hotel kindly provided as some rooms have showers over the bath. The only complaint of the hotel is the that the pool has a vertical ladder and not steps down so it was inaccessible and it was not heated so in May it was cold. The location is lovely on the quiet side of the town and very picturesque .There are lots of little shops on the way into town its about a 30 minute pleasant walk into town. We would highly recommend this hotel and we are already looking to hopefully return next year.

Had a lovely time at Mon Repos Palace. Would recommend it. However, would not rate it as a 4-star hotel. The staff are great, location is great (5 minutes from the airport in a taxi, 20 minutes walk to Corfu old town - there is a bus which runs there too and isn't expensive), food is delicious - definitely book breakfast and have the evening buffet at least once.
The outdoor seating area is great. Didn't try the pool but it looked fine.
There is entertainment on too. We had a seaview which was lovely. There are some great restaurants nearby so you don't need to go to the old town.
However the bathroom is dated, walls are thin, our french window had a gap underneath so was not soundproof. They need to put felt on the chair legs as you can hear people scraping their chairs in adjacent rooms.
Tips - go to the taxi rank at the airport as it's only 20 euros to the hotel. The hotel booked a taxi back for us for 20 euros. If you like tea take a travel kettle as the coffee machine only delivers lukewarm water.
There isn't a beach nearby - just steps down into the sea where many people do swim

Our second time staying at Mon Repos and it was just as good as the first time we stayed here in 2022. It is such a lovely hotel, in a fantastic location with a short distance to the Old Town by foot and bus. All staff, from reception to waiting staff, to the cleaners are all so polite and friendly and go above and beyond to help and provide such a fantastic service. The rooms are cleaned daily, fresh towels are provided as well as toiletries. Also, enjoyed the complimentary slippers and robes. Yes, the rooms are a little small and the bathrooms are a little dated but who goes on holiday to stay in a room all day? We paid slightly extra for a sea view this time and it is 100% worth it especially if you enjoy watching the sun rise!
The food is amazing. It is a buffet style for breakfast and dinner and you are spoiled for choice. My partner is a serious foodie and he always talks about the food at Mon Repos.
The swimming pool is a bit small buy clean and quiet. There aren't many sunbeds but we always manged to get one every day and it was pretty quiet once it got warmer during the day.

We managed to book excursions to Albania, the water park and to Anti Paxos - brill! Albania was fab -definitely recommend.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful quiet break then this hotel is for you. I am always sad to leave but I can't wait to go back!

I stayed at Mon Repos Palace Hotel between 13th and 20th October. As you arrive, the reception staff are very welcoming, and your booking in process is accompanied by a complementary drink. I had a problem with the combination lock on my suitcase, which appeared to have been damaged in flight and wouldn’t open. Within two minutes of asking reception if they could help, a maintenance man was at my door to help open the lock. This was at 9pm on a Sunday!

The public areas were lovely, a very nice restaurant, and a relaxing bar area to chill after the meal. Even though this was practically out of season, music entertainment was laid on for two or three nights.

The rooms are functional and mine had a good side sea view. It was a bit old fashioned for my personal taste, but everything worked well.

I stayed on bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast buffet, with a huge selection of hot and cold food was superb. Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 10.30. Try to avoid 9 to 9.30 as this seems to be the popular time for guests. Evening meals are also buffet style, but the choice of food, all cooked perfectly, was amazing. You also get a complimentary glass of red or white wine with your meal. The restaurant is run perfectly by Mr. Costas and his team, who can’t do enough to ensure your dining experience is a happy one. They also have a spa at the hotel, but I didn’t use it.

The hotel’s location is good, being a short bus ride, or 30 minutes walk around a most beautiful bay into bustling Corfu town.

A very enjoyable, relaxing week.

If you like a quality hotel with high standards of service then this is the place for you. The staff simply cannot do enough for you. Anything you need - taxis, car hire, pool towels, advice or information about the area or island and they are there for you. The breakfast offering and evening meal options are also excellent although personally we like to eat out at restaurants in the evening but if you prefer to eat in the hotel the evening meal
package is 20 euros per person and includes a glass of wine. Evening entertainment is on offer some nights too although maybe a little ‘ old school ‘ for some which is why I think this hotel probably suits an older more mature clientele. Contrary to some other reviews I think the walk into Corfu town is a little too far - 30 mins and so we would get a taxi into town in the evenings for 10 euros and the 2A bus back which stops near the hotel for 1.70 euros per person. There is a bar/cafe across the road - Nautilus which is ok for a snack/drink/ coffee and popular with the locals but not great for a meal out in my view. There is the odd restaurant near to the hotel but the best ones and the huge choice of options are all in Corfu town. The swimming pool is quite small and shallow and overlooks a side road which may not suit everyone and there are only approx 12 x sunbeds/parasols but there is additional seating and deckchairs around the pool which people put to good use for sunbathing etc. There wasn’t the usual morning rush to bag a sunbed as to be honest the type of people staying here were above that behaviour so that can be a plus or a minus depending on your point of view. The rooms are quite small as are the bathrooms but unless you intend to spend time in them they are perfectly adequate. Rooms and towels are cleaned/ changed daily by a great team of cleaning staff all very friendly saying hello as you go down to breakfast. If you want a sea view then you need to request this but the side sea view rooms still offer a decent sea view too. Room fridge is stocked daily with free large bottle of water and there is also a Nepresso machine and free room safe. Finally a special mention to Iris and Kostas in the restaurant who added to our enjoyment of our holiday with their friendly nature and willingness to please. Keep wearing those lovely shirts and ties Kostas !

The hotel was very good, and we enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice with great AC, but the bathroom let the room down slightly it was a little bit tired which was OK, but the little things like the mastic seals looked like they had not been done well. The hotel was far enough from the town center to be tranquil but close enough to walk in town when you wanted.

The food was excellent, with plenty of it and well cooked. We had B&B but ended up eating there most nights as the price was very reasonable and the food very good. The staff were excellent and accommodating... special mention to Efe and the maitre d, who went out of the way to be helpful.

If there was one thing that could be improved would be the pool, which although small was clean and refreshing, The sun loungers were always full. The other guests would throw towels onto the sunbeds before breakfast, 'reserving' them for their use for the whole day even if they weren't there for big portions of that day. I would suggest that the hotel have a policy where they check the loungers regularly and remove towels that are clearly being used to 'reserve' the loungers. I appreciate we could remove the towels ourselves but who wants to get into an argument with other guests in 37C!

We have just enjoyed a week at this marvelous hotel, I feel qualified to give this review, having been a general manager of a four-star hotel in North Yorkshire, UK.

The staff at Mon Repos Palace are second to none, always helpful caring and friendly, kind attentive and hard-working in all areas. Their approach to their individual tasks is noticeable as they take pride in all they do, that’s rare.

The restaurant manager Kosta is a diamond, such a huge asset to the hotel as he oversees the efficient running of the restaurant, commanding respect from all the staff, maintaining the smooth running of all meals.

With such quality of staff this hotel can only have a great future.

The food is truly amazing for its variety and creativity. With a menu that is artistically and creatively produced, the choice is yours from the beautifully displayed buffet style at every meal covering all possible requirements.
Breakfast like a king they say, well you can do that here, from cereals, bacon and eggs cooked fresh in every style, to cold meat and fruit, it’s all there.

There is a full A La Carte Menu for those that require it at dinner.
Live music was played in the evening, not load but gentle and in a relaxing style.

The bathrooms do need an upgrade as I’m sure the management will be aware, but due to COVID and its effects the investment funds will have been affected I guess. When it is carried out, I’d suggest good quality showers replace the baths, perhaps keeping one or two rooms with a bath if necessary.

Keep up the good work.

Terry & Andrea Reeves

I have stayed here several times due to the location and , more importantly, because of the lovely staff from the reception to the catering manger and his staff. They are really so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The main problem is the hotel bedrooms. I have stayed in a normal room and also the most costly, the presidential suite. ALL of them are really 2 star. The mattresses are rock hard, most of the window panes have failed. There are no bidets so in 2023 you still have to put wc paper into a bin. This is 2023 for goodness sake! The steel baths have no grab handles for safety and it beggars belief shower curtains are still being used in 2023! The washbasins are only just attached to the wall as the slightest pressure makes them move downwards. The flooring in the presidential suite is lino! and loose in parts. The most costly suite has a table and two chairs and two old deck chairs. The hotel needs a complete revamp. I suppose if guests keep booking there is no incentive for the owners to do any updating. This is false economy as should a nearby site become available another company will open a hotel, take the best staff and make sure they are at least 4 star unlike the Mon Repos which is barely a 2 star. Having spoken to several guests they all said they were coming back to Corfu but wanted to stay elsewhere as the accommodation was so poor. The owners should take heed. The location is brilliant, the staff are brilliant bit nothing else.
