I was recommended Serendipity BnB by the wedding planner and it was an excellent recommendation. Christine is a fantastic host, great communication from the time of enquiring about booking right through to departure. My flight was cancelled last minute and Christine did everything that she could to ensure that I got to the wedding on time. (Note: Pre-arrange collection form Bergerac airport or you will wait for a long time for a taxi). I stayed in the downstairs bedroom that was so clean and well kitted out (lots of hanging space, plug sockets, a bath and a large walk in shower). The breakfast was great - juice, tea/coffee, fruit, yoghurt and pastries were included as standard. Or you could request a full English for a reasonable price. As I was 6 months pregnant, Christine also bought me special tea to help with the sickness that I've been experiencing- so very thoughtful! There is also a large living room area and garden to enjoy. The location of the BnB is 100m for the main square in Eymet, which hosts a night market on a Tuesday and a makers market on a Sunday at other times you can just sit in one of the many restaurants and watch the world go by. The trip was perfect and Christine is a fantastic host, she makes you feel so welcome, much like staying with family. I would 100% recommend and I hope to come back for a return stay.

Wow! Seconds away from the bustling square is this outstanding bed and breakfast. Location is everything and this would not fail to disappoint anyone. Christine welcomes you from the moment you enter to the moment you leave; nothing is to much trouble. I was shown to my room which was perfect, little touches around the room left me in no doubt that this was a very lucky find. I stayed for a week and Christine was there if I needed advice about Eymet. Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful and everything about Serendipity was spot on down to cleanliness and the tasteful decor which made staying here so comfortable. My own disappointment was that I was not here longer. Christine you are a star and thank you for making my stay wonderful.

I have stayed over on all my work trips this year with Christine who has been very flexible and accommodating to my requests, as I work very early and come back very late. I am extremely allergic to dust but I have never had an episode staying over because the sheets are cleaned and changed before arrival and the beds and pillows are comfortable. She is situated in the heart of Eymet but very quiet so it's perfect.

We arrived travel weary and slightly grumpy on a damp October evening - but we had a wonderful warm welcome from Christine! Serendipity is perfectly placed in a quiet location with a little garden less than a minute from the main square. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay, not to mention a very comfy bed. Christine gave us some fresh milk to put in our little fridge for morning tea and all in all we felt very well looked after. Christine is also a font of knowledge about places to eat and drink and things to see and do in this lovely area. Strongly recommended!

We stayed at Serendipity for 4 nights, had the best time the Host of Serendipity Christine is a wonderful person, she accommodated us with open arms, we felt like being at home, she gave us fresh towels everyday, wonderful breakfast every morning, always making us pots of tea's as many as we wanted. My room had shower gel, shampoo, conditioner deodrant and even mouth wash. Felt so welcomed and felt like it was my home. She gave us wine gin and tonic's christine even printed my bording passes for me with no extra cost, really appreciate it Christine. And for all your hospitality. Will definitely be going there again.

This was our first time staying in a b&b and our first time in Eymet, neither disappointed! From the minute we stepped inside, Christine made us feel extremely welcome and from then on, could not do enough for us. We stayed in the most beautiful room, with a huge private bathroom, The cooked breakfast was delicious and her poached eggs perfect!! she provided all the information we needed to explore Eymet and enjoy all it has to offer, even accompanied us on a guided tour. The location is perfect, and a two minute stroll to the town centre, with it's bars and restaurants. We had a fabulous time staying at Serendipity and will definitely be returning in the near future, Thankyou Christine, we can not recommend you enough.

I had a wonderful stay at Serendipity…. Decorated very nicely with a very comfortable bed , good size bedroom with choice of lovely free standing roll top Bath or shower ,Christine my Host was full off character and fabulous hospitality, nothing was too much trouble . Loved my room and enjoyed the pretty peaceful court yard to sit in , Breakfast was good too , looking forward to returning. Perfect location , walking distance to the square for a choice restaurants , Christine was very obliging, recommended several shops for certain things . anything you needed…. Just ask Christine.

Had the pleasure of staying with Christine as part of our honeymoon celebrations, and we were blown away by the hospitality that she showed to my wife and I. The rooms are spotless and the garden is a wonderful tranquil oasis with a riot of colourful flowers and comfy chairs to unwind in. This is our second visit and we thoroughly recommend staying here if you're coming to this part of the Dordogne.

Just returned from a fantastic 5 night stay at Serendipity Eymet - as we were in the area to attend a friend’s wedding. Our room was beautiful with everything we needed and more - including a fabulous roll top bath and lots of little thoughtful extras. Christine was a wonderful host with her perfect combination of kindness, local knowledge and charisma. The full English breakfast was amazing with the freshest eggs I’ve ever tasted, which really set us up for the day ahead. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt relaxed and at home from the second we arrived. The location was fantastic and only a stone’s throw from the town square with its pretty shops, restaurants and bars - which was lovely both during the day and on a warm evening. The garden at Serendipity was a little oasis of loveliness and a perfect place to relax and unwind. Christine, thank you for the care and time you took to ensure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be returning! Xx

Serendipity is the perfect B&B located right in the centre of Eymet. Despite being in the heart of the town, it is a haven of tranquility. Christine is a wonderful host who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and at ease and nothing is too much trouble. Her breakfasts were delicious with freshly prepared fruit salads each morning. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. The room we stayed in was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. I can highly recommend Serendipity and would return in a heartbeat!
