We got a deluxe large room which was a spacious clean room with great decor. The hotel itself is very inviting and in a prime location. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
I cannot explain how amazing our breakfast was. The best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel ever. So well thought out, time had been taken in setting up the food and some very creative ideas. Honestly was blown away. The member of staff in the restaurant was very attentive and efficient, ensuring everything was neat, tidy and topped up. Definitely visit!!

Modern and well-situated, close to the river, just a minute on foot from the main street.
I was impressed straight away by the helpful and knowledgeable lady at reception who was able to give me all the local information I needed and clearly took a professional pleasure in doing so. My room was large with a comfortable double bed. The breakfast buffet is a model of its kind – I could have happily a spent a large part of the morning sampling the various things on offer. Highly recommended.

We booked to stay in Hotel Santa Cruz for one night and had a nice stay. It was as described with welcoming staff. The location is good, close to free parking and easy to walk to restaurants and bars in town. We booked an economy room, which was indeed basic, but it was a very reasonable price so I am fine with that. The shower was hot and had very good water pressure.

Great location in the center of Cangas de Onís. Numerous free parking spots close by. Close to the busstation if you plan on going to Lagos de Covadonga. Small hotel. Small rooms, but very comfortable. The breakfast is not the biggest, but the selection is of high quality and there are something for everyone. The personal at the hotel are all great.

We've been in this hotel during this summer with our baby of 14 months. They charged us for the breakfast of our child because she ate only one crepe and 2 slices of watermelon. I cut also 2 slices of melon for the afternoon because my girl did not eat well and I took a slice of cake for her also. The waitress was all that time looking at me and shout at me "no, you can't take away some food from here", I said "it's juste a piece of cake for my baby of 14 months", she said "ok for once"!! We were very surprised by this reaction because we were traveling for 2 weeks and nobody said anything for that. But the very big surprise was at the check out, when the hotel asked us to paid 6 euros for the breakfast of my baby! I said to them that she just ate a crepe and a piece of watermelon, but they dit not want to change and charge us of 6 euros. Finally, it's not a question of money, but shouting at us not to take some piece of food and after force us to pay for a breakfast of a 14months' girl was incredible. I do not recommend this hotel anymore! Services awful! I have never seen that in my live, they do not want children.

We had a great two night stay at hte Hotel Santa Cruz. Modern hotel conveniently located close to the town centre on a quiet street with free parking available nearby. English speaking reception was very helpful with suggestions. Rooms were very clean and quiet.
The standout feature is the breakfast buffet served in downstairs dining room. Very large selection of breakfast items, all very fresh and tasty, not commercial/industrial food.
It was a very short walk to the centre of town with many restaurants to choose from. And a 5 minutes walk to the bus station to catch the coach to Lagos de Covadonga.

Cangas De Onis is a small town, nice history and buildings, full of restaurants and walks. I recommend it. The Hotel Santa Cruz is very well located, like all the hotels seen the town is small. So you park your car close, convenient, you have very friendly staff, convenient, you have a nice clean room.............but paper walls and in case noisy youngsters on your floor, hell to sleep.....they fart, you hear......On top, front facing rooms have another nice topic, the street where constant traffic prevents you from keeping the windows open. A very positive note however, the breakfast buffet is very nice, fresh and varied and the man servicing the breakfast room a delight, so friendly.

We used this hotel as our jumping off point for exploring Picos national park and the surrounding areas. It was the perfect location for this. The hotel is just off the town's main street with easy walking to all shops and restaurants. We stayed in one of the junior suites. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the jacuzzi tub was so relaxing! The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our A/C unit was dripping water and the refrigerator was not working when we arrived back from dinner. They worked until nearly midnight to resolve the problems, and ended up fixing both. Breakfast was tasty and had a decent selection. I would definitely recommend Santa Cruz hotel if you are in the Picos area.

Good location in Miraflorés. Only a quick taxi ride away from the city. Rooms are comfortable with oil heaters for the cold nights. Bathrooms very clean. No safe in room, but travel smart. Front desk staff and security guard are fantastic. Was welcomed with a smile and a conversation every time I walked in the door. They exchange money the hotel. Ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner and the food was clean, fresh and extremely tasty. Would definitely recommend it for a quick stopover and you don't want to be too far away from the city, or the airport. Felt safe in the area and there's a corner store where you can buy bottled water just next door.

Would stay here again if I was travelling through Lima to connect elsewhere.

As Cangas is such a busy little town, it seemed quite surprising that this little hotel managed to be just outside the centre and still feel quiet and peaceful.
It is on quite a busy road front, but we weren't troubled by noise when we had the double glazing shut at all. And even with open windows we slept well.
The staff were all polite and helpful, and knowledgeable about the area.
We had one of the attic rooms which may feel a little small, but are nicely decorated and very clean. They were tidied for us daily. Possibly the rooms on the first floor are a bit bigger.
There's no specific parking, but on street parking isn't too difficult to find.
The breakfast was simple but enjoyable. Fresh juice, coffee, cereals, toast, jam, cheese, meats and pastries. Not a huge variety, but enough for some variety and what was there was tasty.
I was very happy with this hotel and would certainly return.
Especially after seeing what else is on offer in the area, it's nice, comfortable and relative price quality ratio for the area.
