We stayed in the apartment block outside the pool for 2 weeks. Basic rooms but everything that you needed in there! The cleaners were very friendly and did a fantastic job. Bar staff were really friendly and accommodating. Overall a lovely and peaceful place, close to the city and would definitely go back

This is not an ordinary hotel, it's a family run hotel, and 3 people are basically doing everything so sometimes you might feel let down by long waiting at the reception.. Pro: it's a good place to stay and currently under refurbishment, it's quit cheap and the position is perfect, only 15 min walk from Kos city. Huge pool and...

After booking our long awaited holiday at the Iris September 2016. We Always enjoy self catering for the freedom and sometimes I like to cook (must be silly), so after requesting Self catering, Ground floor (because of my partner), the agent said this would be all booked and the apartment will have a pool view - lovely. But on arrival...

Just arrived home after 2 weeks at the Iris with my husband and friends. Having read reviews before booking we were looking forward to our time there .Unfortunately the reviews were nothing like the experience we had .Very little customer service with the pool bar hardly being open and when it was there was no interaction with customers .It became...

Another fantastic holiday with the family that run this spotlessly clean Hotel and Apartments, Just outside the beautiful town of Kos, in a quiet setting with a few local tavernas, or local bus at the end of the road to take you into town. The apartments are plenty big enough for two, with fridge and two ring cooker top, which...

stayed Sept 16, 3 bedroom apartment. The cooking facilities were a travel kettle and a 2 ring plug in hob. We made do - with only two plug sockets in the room and the kettle having to be boiled twice for each of us to have a coffee. There were two saucepans and three plates, three glasses and three sets...

Myself and my partner arrived at the Iris at around 11pm, after getting a shared coach from the airport. In the dark, it seemed to be down a rather quiet and empty road so we weren't sure what to do about eating. There is a supermarket close to the hotel so the first night we just picked up some snacky...

The room was pretty basic and dated but very clear; the rooms were cleaned and tidied every day which was nice. Our main issue was the noise; I didn't get one good night's sleep during the whole stay. We were in the main ground floor corridor of the hotel and it was very noisy. We could hear doors slamming, people...
