Recently stayed here for a couple of nights. Upon arrival the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The bungalow which we rented was in the back of the house. Two floors, the bathroom on ground level and the sleeping upstairs. Comes with a nice hammock. The bed is covered by a good mosquito net. Large windows for a lot of...

We left here with such mixed feelings!! We stayed 3 nights here the day we showed up I could have cried it was so not what I was expecting! We stayed in one on the private bungalows out back but privacy was not something I can say we got! The walls were paper thin and we could hear people walking...

Moalboal backpackers dorm is very basic. I stayed there for a night but as it was full the bed options remaining were not that great. The main issue is however the toilets for the dorm. There are three options but just one with a toilet seat. The dorm is under a roof but open, no windows or doors so noise...

Room was good, well maintained with mosquito nets, lockers were provided but you have to bring your own locks & keys! my btm locker had a huge hole at the bottom of it but i doubt anyone could get my stuff thru there unless sometime falls out from there! there were charging ports but not beside your beds! free breakfast...

this place is dirty, the owner is very rude. he was shouting to everyone who was taking shower saying 2 min shower is enough cos he had to buy water since they were having problem getting fresh water there. which he asked us to pay more aside from the room price. he also said he didn't care if we complain....

If you're looking for a cheap but good quality accommodation, then better go to Moalboal Backpacker's Lodge. It's a well-maintained lodge for a budget price. You can also feel the beach vibes, you meet lots of backpackers/travelers (when staying in the dorm type accommodation). It's also near the best bars, restaurants and dive shops in the area. The staff are...

You get what you pay for. The cheapest in the area and serves its purpose. No wonder it's always fully booked. The whole stretch of street where it is located has all you need. Right in the middle of that street so everything is accessible even the tricycles. Recommended when on a tight budget.

Stayed one night Tuesday 15th March. Very good choice of accommodation if you like laid back atmosphere and not demanding more than expected from a backpacker hostel. Owner very friendly and and generally good atmosphere. Great entrepreneurship story. Location excellent - 20 meters from the sea where you can swim with the sardines and find turtles. Just one odd matter...

Rooms are very affordable. The ambiance is so native which I like that I won't find in the city and made me feel like i was really in a vacay. Since itis a mixed dormitory, you could meet travellers there. Nice staff. One thing though, I wish they could provide more electric fans for the guest.

I thought they were joking when I was pointed to my bed which is so high you can kiss the ceiling. But all that was forgotten for the sake of the very accomodating owner and staff. Even the friends of this lodge is very helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
