          Hi there, we are hoping to do the journey from Huay to Luang stopping off at this lovely looking lodge but I am wondering doe shay one have any advice on doing it independently ? Is it easy to get boat rides to Pakbeng and then beyond the next day to Luang? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks x

          There are a few other boat companies that do it, plus the much cheaper public boats which can be overcrowded and uncomfortable and you need to bring your own food on board. Read the reviews for them. Also, it may get... More

          Hi, We are taking a cruise from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai in June. I know that your boats do not run during the month of June. However, is it possible to still stay overnight in the lodge in Pakbeng? We are a family of four. Thanks!

          We climbed the hill up from the river, I'm not sure what other access there is but the staff were extremely helpful there, perhaps you could email the hotel and ask about access when not arriving by boat. We had no mosquitos... More
