We stayed for 3 nights from 9th April 2017. Overall the Hotel was very good value for money and we enjoyed our stay. Let me get the only negative out of the way, the disabled access rooms do not have walk in showers, which was a problem for our group. On the plus side the staff are very pleasant and...

Visited Oriel for a 1 night break although a bit dated the room was well appointed and spacious nice and clean. Staff were all excellent particularly the girl on reception and the waitress at dinner who were excellent. The food was of a very high quality and very generous portions. Overall a very nice stay!!!

Was taken as a guest yesterday for afternoon tea. Great cup of tea but that's where it ended. Placed in a dingy back room as the Conservatory was needed for a wedding. A door was open to the Conservatory which was set for tea but totally unused during our visit. The service was friendly but sparse, once the tea was...

Perhaps a bit unusual to write a review on such an occasion but I feel that the Oriel deserves comment Warm and friendly with welsh speaking staff. The light refreshments were very nice and plenty for everyone.

Only stayed for one night but would recommend this to anyone. The staff couldn't do enough from check in to check out and the food was beautiful. The gardens were immaculate, even in the rain. Didn't use the spa/gym just the bar and restaurant.

A nice hotel - a little old and dated but charming, I stayed in a deluxe room which was large, bright and clean. It was a little cold in the room even though the radiator was on (but that may be me). The bed is huge and comfy with good quality linen. I'm not sure you could called it a...

We stayed here in a ground floor room for two nights on a Groupon offer. Hotel a little worn in places (scratches on room door, sidewards moving toilet seat, shower drain made a terrible sucking noise and shower spray mounting very wobbly) but overall clean and tidy. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast included which was a fair selection of cooked...

It's ok. The receptionist on arrival was helpful the one on leaving was brusque. The room was clean but dated. It benefitted from a large bathroom with bath but the light over the mirror didn't work. The bedroom was a good size and it's great to be able to open a window even if there's condensation from single glazing. The...
