We stayed over on a B&B basis. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. Very reasonably priced for a family room. Pool and gym were included. All nice enough for the price charged. We would certainly return.

The food here was absolutely fantastic but it's a shame I didn't get to finish it, our table was large and busy and my meal was taken away from me before I had the chance to finish, I had pause for a drink and a chat. I spoke to three different members of staff about it and was fobbed off....

So I was a resident here last night and car parking was horrendous, to be abused by the car parking attendant that my car is too big and his attitude stunk. Need to get some decent customer service and parking attendants. Was definitely not a great start to my stay at all!!!! not impressed

I recently attended an organised dinner at this hotel. Some of my experiences of the past in other organisations have left me dubious as to whether to attend organised dinners. This one has changed my view entirely. From entering the hotel lobby to leaving at the end of the night the whole experience was excellent. The table was laid out...

I'd preordered a bottle of bubbly as a surprise for my partner which was waiting nice and chilled in the room. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was excellent, the beds were very comfy and...

We've just returned from a 2 night stay there. It was a groupon deal. The accommodation was nice. In comparison to manchesters 4* hotels, the Oriel would be better graded as a 3 1/2*. The hotel does not have a lift. It was clean and the staff were friendly and made our stay pleasant. Beds were comfortable and the lounge...

I recently arranged a dinner for a group of 14 people in the Oriel House Hotel restaurant. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, with the table being laid out beautifully, the staff were very attentive, and we all enjoyed our meals enormously. We will definitely arrange to eat here again!
