Just returned from a weekend in this property (a seven-minute drive from Merano)... Personally, I was very positively impressed by the place: excellent welcome and available for all my requests, convenient free covered and uncovered parking, even for recharging the electric car.
ROOM: room with habitable balcony with a crazy view of Merano and its valley, well soundproofed with electric windows also available before my check in time, bathroom with floor-level shower with window overlooking the bedroom area. Very neat and clean.
RESTAURANT: I personally chose the half board breakfast and dinner formula. Excellent breakfast with many local varieties also for vegans and intolerants with a large sweet and savory buffet and with the chef who prepares eggs in a thousand ways on sight. A la carte dinner with very elegant and refined surroundings, many proposals to choose from; The wine list is excellent (even though I, as a teetotaler, have not used it). The only flaw, in my opinion, is the somewhat small quantities.
SPA: small but essential, included in the price, you will find three different saunas, a Turkish bath, an indoor swimming pool, a relaxation area. Corner with herbal teas. All very clean with a spectacular view with constant change of towels.
Concluding, such a positive experience that I extended my stay by one night (notified at the last minute) and with the promise I made to myself to return as soon as possible. Congratulations, continue like this, you are a rarity!!!! Alexei

We stayed there for a few nights and opted for half board and Suite Meranblick. The hotel is surrounded by apple plantations. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Large sauna and SPA area. At the restaurant, ask to be seated at the front and not at the back so you can enjoy a great view over Merano and Tirolerdorf (on the opposite side of the valley). The staff was very kind and ready to help. Large breakfast selection. Great coffee machines at the reception and for breakfast. There are also 3x EV charging stations. On the less positive side: (i) hotel is on the shady side of the valley and by 3pm we were on the shadow while the opposite valley had sun till 5pm; (ii) dinner selection somewhat limited; (iii) our room was facing the train crossing which has a very unpleasant bell that rings for every train, and the first one is at 5:42am...

Modern, splendid, very clean and accurate in every detail hotel, it enjoys a spectacular view of the valley, is surrounded by apple orchards and is completely focused on organic products that you can enjoy for both breakfast and dinner. I advise you not to look for other culinary offers in the area, none will be up to the chef of this restaurant who will win you over with refined and never banal dishes. Abundant breakfast will offer you every delight from sweet to savory and will be served in the dining rooms on a glass veranda with exceptional views The strong point of this structure in my opinion, however, is the human resource, starting from Andrea who took my reservation and Lena at the reception, to Donatello, an exquisite person, DJ, great competence and professionalism and Pasquale very nice, a special thank you to them for having us pampered and made to feel at ease. The range of services is good although sometimes unclear, for a truly complete wellness center an internal hydromassage tub would be missing, unfortunately it was raining and we could not use the external one, otherwise small but delightful with hay sauna, Turkish bath, swimming pool and herbal tea shop. The hotel is located on a beautiful property with a stunning view. The staff is exemplary and extremely welcoming and accommodating. A special mention to the wood fire pizza oven, this is amongst the best pizzas I've ever eaten

A wonderful place for relaxation and pampering. The Pazeider is located above Merano in the small town of Marling with a wonderful view of the valley and the mountains. The family-run organic hotel is concerned about the well-being of its guests. The hotel was modernized some time ago and perfectly combines design with comfort and coziness. The rooms are wonderfully air-conditioned.
The highlight of the hotel is the food, both breakfast and dinner. Everything is top quality, everything organic, incredibly tasty and balanced. The kitchen team inspires every day with creativity, precision and great ingredients. Everyone gets their money's worth here. Fine wines and great drinks round this off.
Last but not least, Donatello and his team should be mentioned: always focused on the guests, always 120% committed and good for a surprise.
The spa area and indoor and outdoor pool round off the offer.
Marling is also the perfect starting point for hikes, excursions, a visit to Merano or Bolzano or a bike tour.
We have been guests at the Pazeider for three years in a row and would love to come back.

Modern hotel just a few minutes from Merano. I really enjoyed the common areas with lots of greenery around, the two pools (especially in the morning almost always deserted, great for a bit of tranquility) and the hearty breakfast. Very kind gentleman at reception. Instead I was not satisfied with the room chosen (a Suite with bathtub), particularly uncomfortable the bathroom located in a small niche and the overall functionality of the room. Daily cleaning tends to be scarce, both in the rooms and in the common areas, too bad!

A wonderful organic breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired and imaginative gourmet dinners are wonderful and can be enjoyed in a pleasant ambience that is quiet, dignified and inspiring. There is an exclusive wine list with recommendations from the owner and friendly, attentive service. You have to be aware that the regional train (with a ringing railway barrier) runs above the building and the main road towards Merano runs below. We didn't find this disturbing (with the window closed). The wellness area offers many options, including medical treatments. Ideal starting point for (cycling) excursions, Waal hikes and a visit to the city of Merano (possible with the regional train, stop in the immediate vicinity).

Great hotel with a beautiful garden. Very clean. Beautiful, spacious rooms, top staff. The food is a dream, top quality. Wine and grappa of the finest quality. The head waiter personally looks after each guest and gives first-class advice on everything from food to wine and grappa varieties.

The title does not do justice to the place, the staff and the welcome received but it highlights an excellence of the Pazeider. Anyone who stays at the Pazeider without experiencing its cuisine is making a very serious mistake! The level of Bio-Gurmet dinners has nothing to envy of the best starred restaurants. All served with kindness and friendliness by a young and attentive staff. An excellent choice of wines makes everything even more complete.
