All cabins feature a front porch to relax on and modern amenities to create a comfortable stay. Our campground has several different sites, including full hookup, partial hookup, and non-serviced sites to suit every need. Enjoy a fun game of beach volleyball, bocce or horseshoe pits with the entire family. We have motorboat, canoe, kayak and pedal boat rentals available for use. Our friendly staff are happy to organize horseback riding and ATV tours. Join us on your next family vacation!
Friendly cheery family run business that cares about their guests needs. The cabins are well maintained and have all the amenities expected from a wilderness resort. Everything right down to the fishing boats available for rent are well maintained, thoughtful and functional in design. Thank you, Martin and Melanie, for making our experience such a rewarding and enjoyable visit.

Expensive for one night and for shower has a coin machine. it was a beautiful place, but we expected more. Reception was cold and no explanation about options. Wi-Fi does not work. Showed has limited hour from 7:30 to 21:00. Very bad experience.

The owners take great pride in their resort, very friendly, and work hard to make the stay great. The sites are well maintained, plenty of things to do at the resort, lovely cabins for those who aren't RVing. Close to trail rides. We met so many people who come back every year, and we understand why. It's safe for kids, close to a well- stocked store, lakefront sites are lovely. We will be back!

Loon Bay Resort is located on Sheridan Lake, BC. This is one of the cleanest resorts we've been in with really clean washrooms and showers. The owners are really friendly and helpful. We bring our little 5th wheel almost every year to go fishing and stay at the same resort. The lake is great for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing and any other water sports there is.

Very nice facility. Well maintained and organized. Easy to make reservations. My site was right on the water. Nice and level, good view. Fishing was typical for Sheridan Lake, the weather was crazy. Will definitely return to this place again.

Our first camper van trip in Canada, spent one night at this resort. beautiful location on the shores of Sheridan Lake. very helpful staff arranged a riding lesson in a nearby stable for our daughter. Fantastic trip on a Canadian canoe to have a swim on a deserted island. very clean and well run location.

Don't get me wrong, I love this campsite. But on the September long weekend apparently so did a large number of bad dog owners. We were in the area where there is a bit of an inlet and the campsites surround the inlet. All we heard all weekend were barking and howling dogs. Now I have to say this hasn't been the norm in the past. I went and spoke to the owner about the issue who thanked me for my feedback. I suggested to her that maybe a "dog free" area might be an idea for those of us that would rather hear the sounds of nature rather than poorly behaved dogs. The disappointing thing was that after I mentioned the issue, there was no sign of the owner checking to see if people were managing their dogs properly. There was a time I would have rated this resort very good. The site is nice and we'll kept, the views are great. The main bathroom/showerhouse is great and clean. The outhouses could use some updating though. They should just limit the number of dogs or advise people with dogs that barking dogs will not be tolerated. Most people go there to relax, unwind and maybe fish. It's hard to unwind when owners choose not to control their barking pets. I hope things improve there in this regard. It's a shame that a few bad pet owners can ruin an otherwise beautiful resort experience.…

We were very pleased with our stay at Loon Bay Resort. This property has mostly RV camping sites, but there is a handful of tent spots and some cabins as well. We decided to tent as we do not own an RV. The resort is very well equipped with washrooms, showers & laundry (coin-op), rentals, and firewood & ice for purchase. Just a minute drive away is a supermarket, so it is quite convenient if you forget anything at home. Most RV locations have direct access to the water, but if you are tenting you can still access the lake very easily. They also do rentals of kayaks, pedal boats, and canoes. This is mostly a fishing location, but since that is not our thing I cannot comment on how good the fishing actually is. This is a very much family-oriented site, so there were lots of families with kids (which we were totally fine with). It is also dog friendly which was very important for us. We found the family that runs the place is very friendly and welcoming, and will definitely consider coming back again in the future. Couple of things to keep in mind though: Gate to enter and leave the park is open from 8 am to 10 pm, and the main office is open at 9 am. So if you need to go to town to shop make sure it is before the gate closes!…
